Really? i could see the 350Z and the S2000...even the miata, but i (IMO) think they should start introducing performance classes as well...i mean a Porsche is like...whoa? A porsche (hate to say it, as a fan of both S2000 and 350Z) could spank a 350Z and S2000 any day...

Actually the Z4 3.0, Boxster S, S2000, and 350Z are all pretty close in performance on the track. The prices jump all over the chart due to convenience options provided by each manufacturer.

That is not true at all. They are actually very close in performance, the 350Z is a way faster car than the Honda S2000 in most of the aspects, aside from twisty tracks and such. As for the 350Z Roadster, it is still a tad faster but it is slower than the 350Z Coupe.

You are mistaken if you think a Boxster can spank those two cars. A Boxster S maybe a better competition but it won't "spank" those two either.

Although the new Boxster S, I heard coming out will be a tad faster so... let's wait for the reviews.

2004 Honda S2000, 2004 Nissan 350Z (coupe), and 2003 Porsche Boxster S can all do the 1/4 under 14s. The fastest 350Z time stock I heard was 13.5 with a broken into engine, and a very good driver on a good condition days. No slicks or anything like that.

S2000 - Great everyday car for a good price that can be opened up on a circuit.
350Z- One hell of a sport car for everyday driving for a good price.
Porsche Boxster- Looks good but the prices don't match the performance.

what i meant wasnt supposed to be taken as 350z vs s2000 vs boxster vs z4, i simply meant that the 350z and s2000 would be a squeeker with the porsche comming out on top...and where the heck did the Z4 come from?! :dunce:

Aint that the truth (convenience options), but i wasnt going by price. There was a thing somewhere that showed the largest price range of a vehicle, it was either a Lexus, Toyota, or Chrysler that held the 2004 record...it had a range of something like $25,000.00 from base model to top.
