That Corvette is going kill many cars out on the street when someone gets their hands on it! 👍 500 HP is MORE than enough to take many stock and light modded cars to the ground. Anyone know how much this will cost?

I would say 60+, I don't care what the factory says it will sell as, that car will be over 60k in any dealership for atleast 8 months.

So now that this gentlemans agreement bull crap is over with we will see some real contenders from the japanese market. It will be very interesting to see the 2007 GTR take on the vette and viper, all should cost around the same so it will be interesting to see how they perform against each other. Should be quite a good showdown 👍

Indeed. But I think that with the objective statistics being so close, it will come down to a matter of personal preference: do you like high-tech precision design, or stone simple over-engineering?

Yeah the C6 is indeed smaller theat then older vettes. I think a good 5 inchs too!

I've seen one going down the road...well actualy more like 5 of em' I just dont like the headlights its like these little holes in the body of the car theres no shiny plastic stuff in the lights looks bad.....it seems to pull away from the old look of the vettes but Im glad because it was getting old

I am sure that headlights of it gave alot of mix feelings from the crowd. I find it that the majority of the teens find the C6 "awww they 🤬 it UP!" while they HIGHLY approve the Mustangs new look. I am not sure what Corvette fans feel about those headlights, but I would like to know myself!

Yeah I used to be one of them kids that said aww they **** it up but now that I think about it its kinda better! I just still cant get over the rear though.

ok...umm...the Corvette C6 or GT isnt a supercar, but the Sledgehammer sure as hell is! With an unconfirmed top speed of 271mph who can argue? and yes i too am one of those people who hate the design and thought that GM/Chevy's design team made an exterior faux-pas. Another thing, Ford made a retro car (the Mustang, NOT the T-Bird) actually look good. Also, the mustang wasn't designed to compete with the Corvette, it was designed to compete with the GTO, CTS-V/CTS, and the Camaro. Theres some funky aboiut the corvette's hood and headlights i just dont like. C5's r much nicer, IMO.

There are only 2 things I don't like about the new 'Vette. 1. - The headlights. Please, please cover up those hideous . . . things. And 2. - the narrowed rear. Otherwise, it's thumbs up from me. This car could blow away the competition.

I also happen to think that the new Mustang looks too plain. It looks OK from the side, but it lacks the menacing look that you get with a 1st gen. Mustang (See: Boss, Mach 1, Shelby). The rear end is also lacking something. Too plain.
