Thinking of upgrading?

I actually prefer the looks of the old or rather the current one, we don't get them here so I have little idea on how good a car they actually are.

The article mentions Burr Brown DAC...... The finest sounding CD player I've ever owned, an Onkyo, it had Burr Brown DAC. It's the best!

Car & Driver is the Honda whore, not Road & Track.

Road & Track is just a BMW whore...no wait, all american car mags are BMW whores.

I still remember a test where the new 3-series was the least-powerful, slowest-accelerating, most-expensive, and least-equipped model in a comparo...and it won because of the driving experience.

It's actually happened a couple of times with the Protege, too. Both the MP3 and the MP5 have won a comparison or two based on driving experience, despite usually being the least powerful cars in their respective comparisons.

It's a purely subjective thing, yes... and something BMW detractors ...who've accused every car magazine on the planet of accepting bribes from BMW... just can't get.

You'll never know how good or bad a particular car is until you've driven it back-to-back against the competition... not against your memory or preconceptions of what those other cars are like... and not based on what your preconceptions of what that car is like, despite never having driven it...

I've driven the new Fit, BTW... and it just blows me away... except for the thigh support and electric steering, which just aren't substantial enough for me.
