2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Source: www.autoweek.com
FJ comes in three models, a standard rear-driver with automatic transmission, and two four-wheel-drive versions, with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic. Two four-wheel- drive options and two types of locking differentials are also available. Powering the FJ is the same 4.0-liter V6 as found in siblings Tacoma, Tundra and 4Runner. The 24-valve VVT-i engine turns out 239 hp at 5200 rpm and 278 lb-ft at 3700 rpm, which is more than adequate to move its 4050-pound curb weight.
Blazin's Note: Well Toyota has decided to make the FJ concept truck a reality for whatever reason. It's capabilities are awesome, but it's ugly as sin I must say. Although I can't say Toyota is boring on this one, not at all. I just wish they would have made it look more, I don't know, look better. It's uglier then the Aztek for god-sakes, but since it sports a Toyota badge it will sell 3x's as many. I'd still go with a Wrangler though.
By the way, this is the orignal Landcruiser, which the FJ is supposed to look like...
