2009 ADAC Zurich 24h (24h of Nürburgring)

The #1's right on the front row, though. If it can outdrag the #40 into the first corner (unlikely, but you never know), I can't imagine the 40 having good enough tire wear to keep up after a while. I've been wrong before, though.

The R8's should be a good challenge for everyone around them, too. Out of those four, I'm picking the.... (flips coins) #98 to win out of those four. (Too bad I end up missing the first five hours or so... :()

since im still in the stone age (dial up) i wont be able to keep up with race updates sadly, so could someone PM me with updates on the 2 kiwi entries as they are potential class winners?

The #40 Ford GT

Is this car for real, or is it some lower budget privately run car with rich businessmen as drivers with one professional driver that did that lap that will fade in the first couple of hours then break down before 6 hours or are they for real? Or at least semi-real?

Normally V8 Supercars are faster than GT3 class cars, which is why I don't understand how that now more powerful Commodore loses to these GT3 cars.:odd: Can someone tell me where the Holden qualified?

Can someone give me a direct link to the stream. I go on the ones provided but I cannot find a live stream of video. I've found direct links to a live stream on the ADAC Site but whenever I click on them I'm returned to the main page.

GT3 spec cars are actually quite comparable to a V8 Supercar, it's just that most, if not all, the Australian GT teams are privateers and gentlemen racers. And perhaps Nürburgring is a better circuit for the GT class car.

Here are some comparisons between Allan Simonsen's F430 GT3 and the lap records held by V8 Supercars:

Sandown
  • V8 Supercar: 1'10.8
  • F430 GT3: 1'11.5
Symmons Plains
  • V8 Supercar: 0'52.0
  • F430 GT3 (old engine): 0'52.6
Adelaide Street Circuit
  • V8 Supercar: 1'22.4
  • F430 GT3: 1'23.2
Eastern Creek
  • V8 Supercar: 1'31.7
  • F430 GT3: 1'31.5

The live feeds fired up last year, only an hour or so before the race, be patient :)

The Audi channel is my choice at the moment, if you have a good internet connection you can up the quality in the bottom left 👍

I you'll be able to watch the Monaco GP quali, just in time for the live feeds coming on line 👍

Radio le mans feeds are now from the Ring

Am I doing this right? All I'm getting on the Audi thing is a loop of an R16 advert.

Thanks Sweetshop, typical awful music in the build up, I'll stick to RLM.

Does the live stream have any commentary?

Yes, in german.

Radio Le Mans (check first post in thread) has english, live commentary. You can mute the sound on the live-stream and listen to RLM while watching the race.

But then I won't hear the cars on the live stream. :(

Yeah I'll e-mail in if somebody post's the address.

RLM is now just a Nissan Advert.

Woooo Opel Manta!

Someone should tell RLM to watch the stream through the link I provided, they are slower than it by about 10 seconds. Go Manthey!

Radio LeMans:

"Those video games where you have to start from the back and pass 20 cars in one lap. They say it never happens in real life but it it's happening here!"

He has to be talking about Gran Turismo 5 Prologue!
