Glad its not just me!

Anyway, another disappointing result for the Swans conceding a late goal against Kuban again, its been a crap start to the season
I didn't watch the game as I was watching Wigan but you have to give them credit for getting a draw because going to Russia and getting a result is a difficult thing (time differences, jet lag etc)

I know but its another late equaliser conceded against the same team after we played well, its really frustrating and I shouted at the tv when it happened!

We are doing well in Europe as we're unbeaten but our league form is suffering because of it and a lot of fans aren't happy, especially after the Cardiff result! Its going to take a while before we forget about that one!

I think AVB needs to give Defoe a few starts in a Premier League game, he performs when given the chance as shown by the Europa games (yes they were against pretty average teams). Plus it might make Soldado pick things up.
I reckon if they had Townsend on the left Soldado(or Defoe) would get a lot more service, Townsend's crossing always seems a bit off with his right foot and he cuts in too much imo, Lennon is better on the right and Lamela also looks very dangerous cutting in from that side.

Good point but as with Wigan, this could be a once in a lifetime experience (playing in Europe) and Laudrup doesn't want to disappoint the hardcore fans that travel to every game home and away. Also now that Michu is injured, I don't see the league form pick up much as it's a small squad compared to Europe's big boys.

Europa League is back tonight, Spurs are away in a freezing Tromso and they are already through with maximum points from four games, Swansea hope to clinch qualification against an improving Valencia and Wigan will get a step closer to the knockout round with a win over Zulte-Waregam...

Last game of the groups tonight and all 3 English teams can make it through. Tottenham qualified already, but can they make it 6 of 6 and be the only team with a flawless group stage. Swansea need to avoid defeat as they're 3 point and 3 goals above 3rd place. Wigan however isn't fully in their hands. They need to win and hope that top if the group Rubin Kazan at least hold Waregrem to a draw.

Aww I was going to say all that

But yeah Spurs have qualified easily from a weak group, Swansea need a point or better and Wigan have got a bit of a minefield!

I won't do this often but I hope PSV gets a terrible asswhooping tonight and get kicked out of the tournament. There is something about that team this year that makes me despice them. Awful team.

Swansea about to kick off against St Gallen in a freezing and foggy Switzerland...

2 out of 3 British teams through. Not so bad. Hats off to Spurs though for that incredible 100% record.

PSV out. Serves them right. AZ through as head of the group. And Ajax rolls in from the Champions league.

I can see Ajax win this tournament, it seems they get better every game.

My money's on Spurs to win it. Or Juve as they're the strongest drop out from the UCL.

Typical of Swansea to lose and still go through!, It means we have a harder draw now and could face Napoli...

The draw for the last 32 is on tomorrow after the Champions League draw..

So here is the last 32 draw...

Dnipro v Tottenham
Betis v Rubin Kazan
Swansea v Napoli
Juventus v Trabzonspor
Maribor v Sevilla
Viktoria Plzen v Shakhtar Donetsk
Chornomorets v Lyon
Lazio v Ludogorets
Esbjerg v Fiorentina
Ajax v Salzberg
Maccabi Tel-Aviv v Basel
Porto v Frankfurt
Anzi v Genk
Dynamo Kiev v Valencia
PAOK v Benfica
Liberec v AZ Almaar

Jesus that's a big match for Swansea!!

Europa League is back tomorrow night with Tottenham away to Dnipro and Swansea at home to Napoli, the Spurs game does go ahead despite the recent violent protests in Ukraine but Dynamo Kiev v Valencia has been moved to Cyprus..

Gotta be happy with that result @MUSC4EVER. Holding a Napoli team that are currently 3rd in the Serie A and are in the Coppa Italia final to a draw.

A very good performance! we were clearly the better team and we should've scored at least twice, if we can do the same at the San Paolo next week then we'll get through....the difference between tonight's performance and the one against Everton is like night and day!...

Second leg of Europa League last 32 tonight, Swansea are in Napoli and that kicks off at 6 and Spurs-Dnipro is on at 8 on ITV..

....terrible defending :grumpy:
Play to the whistle. That what I was always told when I used to play.

Emnes, if that's how you spell it, is getting some good runs in. Can see them coming back from the goal.

That's the away goal!

Ajax plays great against Barcelona and AC Milan, and then they get their asses handed out to them against Red Bull Salzburg....

Ajax.

0-3 in Amsterdam. 3-1 in Salzburg. 6-1 total. What an awful set of games. Shameful.

Hmm, that line up seems to show that Sherwopd wants to win this. I guess 4th is long gone, so might as well.

Seriously hope we don't qualify for this next year.
