Ludogorets beated Lazio. That's a surprise.
As for Porto, no wins still goes through... Better for Benfica fans.
Swansea did play nice against Napoli, but Napoli was better overall.
Ajax was shameful. Red Bull Salzburg beated them easily.

As for now my Benfica is 0-0 and playing badly. But, fortunately PAOK is worse

Cracker of a game at the Lane, Dnipro (Who the 🤬 are they btw?) got an away goal, Tottenham equalised, Dnipro had a man sent off. Then 2 goals in 4 minutes from Ade and Spurs as it stands are going through :D

Squeaky bum time for a little bit there.

Dnipro can feel hard done by what has transpired. Soldado wasn't sent off in the first half for what was quite clearly a more foul transgression than what Zozulya did. The red card ruined the match, a big gift for the English team.

A sneaky elbow to the chest whilst attempting to seal out the opponent is much less blatant than a head but to the face.

Anyway, Benfica won 3-0 (PAOK had one man sent-off as well) and now we are waiting these final 4-5 minutes to see which is our adversary. Tottenham is most likely the one

EDIT: Tottenham it is.

What a game though and what a comeback! And according to ITV they will play Benfica in the next round.

Swansea did nothing wrong over the two legs and we can hold our heads high after that

In case you missed it, here is the last 16 draw...

Porto v Napoli
Basel v Salzburg
Ludogorets v Valencia
Tottenham v Benfica
AZ Alkmaar v Anzi
Lyon v Viktoria Plzen
Sevilla v Real Betis
Juventus v Fiorentina

Spurs have a mountain to climb in Portugal if they want to make it to the quarter finals.

Tottenham were pretty terrible and are stuck in a rough patch right now..

Second legs tonight, Tottenham have some injury problems for the Benfica game which kicks off in an hour..

Europa League quarter final draw

AZ Alkmaar v Benfica
Basel v Valencia
FC Porto v Sevilla
Lyon v Juventus

Have to say that Spurs put up a great fight last against with a injury hit squad against a good Benfica team..

Benfica played badly yesterday and if Kane and Eriksen played from the begining we would be in big trouble. And we had plenty of luck with the draw today. Thank God!

So Benfica, Juventus and Sevilla are through to the semi finals and Valencia have turned around a 3-0 deficit against Basel from the first leg to get it to 3-3 on aggregate and they're currently playing extra time.

And that's it, Valencia manage to score 2 more in ET and Basel finish with 9 men on the pitch.

Quite an unexpected comeback. After that first leg first half display I thought the tie was finished, but the lads got it done and Paco is now a legend for that performance. His second is particular was a massive strike. Absolute bullet!

Europa League semi-finals:

Sevilla v Valencia

Benfica v Juventus

The semi-finals will take place on 24 April and 1 May.

Sevilla 2-0 Valencia
Benfica 2-1 Juventus

Benfica played ok and still won against the all-mighty Juve. I'm not too confident for 2nd leg but it's possible.

Watching Juventus - Benfica.

The Portuguese are made of glass, so it seems.
