It's going to be a fascinating transfer period:

- Chelfy need new strikers and probably new central and left back defenders too
- Man City will sign someone huge that they dont need, because that's what they do
- Utd need a new back 4 and a new playmaker
- Arsenal need a premier striker, and 2 defenders
- Spurs need a new team
- Everton may need a new striker if Lukaku goes back to Chelfy
- Liverpool need defenders

- Spurs need a new team

OI!!!.......okay maybe.

There's a few I want to stay on, Sandro, Townsend, Adebayor, Walker, Lloris, Paulinho, Erikson, Vertonghen, Lennon etc etc.

Hopefully Lamela will finally be fit and stay fit next season, perhaps then we can see what he has to give. Soldado is useless, in fact the only signings Spurs made last year that have impressed are Paulinho and Erikson, the rest are garbage.

the Toure thing is ridiculous and wont happen, but Twitter had a field day about it and there was some really funny stuff!

The money he's on, he can afford a personalised cake from Thorntons.

Just sayin'...

When Roberto Carlos had his Birthday last year the Anzhi owner bought him a Bugatti Veyron, maybe Yaya was expecting a LaFerrari or something...

Phil Neville wants to be part of LVG's backroom staff at United, which is great but what did he actually do when he was assistant last season?!

Probably the same thing Dennis Lawrence does at Everton and Craig Shakespeare does at Leicester; a coaching role.

But because Phil Neville is a famous name, he of course is in the spotlight. Class of '92 so he'll be staying in some capacity.

Lennon steps down after winning the title and says he will help with selection of new manager.

So Moyes to Celtic then??

No surprise about Lennon as he has been talking about being a PL manager for a while and has been linked to the Norwich job, I think Moyes would be perfect for Celtic...

...speaking of Moyes, not sure what to make of this bar scuffle, first impressions is that it could be a fuss over nothing...

Lennon wont get the Norwich job, Neil Adams has signed a three year deal....

I was thinking either West Brom, Villa or Newcastle.

Beeb - Gomes To Leave Spurs

Forgot he was even still on their books, and didn't know he spent last year on loan at Hoffenheim...

I was thinking ...Villa...
Me too...

Lennon has relatively little managerial experience, having one of the easiest jobs in the sport - managing Celtic while their only rivals are thrown out of the league. Yet Lennon's CL credentials are strong, and I could see a low ranking EPL team being interested in him... maybe I'll see Lenny in the pub later, so I can ask him then :P

Cardiff have been busy in the transfer market already, Spanish striker Javi Guerra will join on July 1st and they have signed an Austrian midfielder who's name I cant remember..

Sky Sports are reporting that PSG are in advanced talks with Chelsea for David Luiz in £50 million deal, 50 mill is a lot for someone who isn't a great player!!

Guido Burgstaller. Not bad actually.

Also, £50 million for the world's best comic relief player is...well, comic relief, really.

So, Thoughts regarding Lennon leaving.

As shocked as I was it was so early when he was pretty much guaranteed the opportunity to be the only 10IAR winner in the Scottish Premier League, I'm happy he has decided to move on/take a break. As good as his team came out in the CL, his tactics were just a tad spurious. For everything he done right, we would then get knocked out of a cup competition from a team who would go on to lose 10-2 in the same season. I thank Neil for a good tenure and a fantastic record against Rangers, but he had his time.

In terms of who I would like to replace Neil...I'm not sure at all, I would like to see someone with experience in Europe(which is where the main priority should lie) and a proven manager who isn't unattainable. I would not like to see someone brought in on the basis he was legendary as a player, looking at you Larsson.

Jesus Christ! What has he done for Chelsea the past few seasons? Jack 🤬. And all of a sudden he's somehow worth £50m for them?

Right so at this part of the summer clubs release the players at the end of their contract if they don't want to renew them, Shola Ameobi has gone from Newcastle, City have let Lescott, Barry and Pantilimon go, West Ham are going to let Joe Cole go and perhaps the biggest surprise is that according to the Chelsea website they are letting Frank Lampard go! With Eto'o and Cole joining him...
