I wouldn't worry about the press stuff, the media seem to not like Moyes so they are happy to print stories/rubbish about him.

He still blows hot and cold for me, too inconsistent..

So then the domestic stuff and up and running again after the international break and the news for United fans is that Rooney wont be fit for the match against Palace on Saturday but might be back against Man City next weekend..

No interesting fixtures this weekend. I think that the only one that really sticks out to me is Swansea against Liverpool. Swansea have had a rough but hard start and will be looking to get form now rather than later whilst Liverpool will be looking to continue into a 4 game winning streak.

Everton vs Chelsea could be interesting if Chelsea decides not to show up.

I think this round of fixtures is made for the debut's of the deadline day signings, nothing particularly interesting but I wanna see Erikson and Lamela so I guess it's worked.:P

Willian won't play, eto'o is past it, fellaini is rubbish when the ball is on the ground and I get depressed watching arsenal matches.:P

But yeah, for other people, signings like that are worth watching, I was just saying Erikson and Lamela from my point of view, I know the majority won't really care about them.

Still think Wilfried Bony will be signing of the summer, or maybe Erikson on sheer bargain.👍

So the Premier League chairman and the FA chairman met in London today and will work together to help improve development of English players, ive no idea what they are going to do but I think its good that Greg Dyke will try to do something about it, next few months and years should be interesting..

so the best looking games this weekend look like Everton-Chelsea which is the late kickoff tomorrow and Swansea-Liverpool on Monday night..

It's not really an exciting weekend in the EPL. All it means is that our early kick off means that I have to get up early to watch it

"Early" :P

Well, it's gonna be good with some Premier League football again. 2 weeks without it is to much.

Im just happy proper football is back after a dismal two weeks, only England and Scotland won in two rounds of games involving the home nations...bring on the weekends footie!

Yeah, I'm 15. I take every possible moment to have a lie-in

Matchday! Hoping for a good match, and a win with at least a couple goals.

Boring first half until 2 minutes left.

Penalty for United, Crystal Palace red card and RvP scores.

Heard Young dived for that Penalty at Old Trafford (sentence so used to be heard over the years)

No, he didn't dive, he just put his foot out, and the referee meant he dived. I think the first situation where he got yellow for diving was more penalty than the actual penalty.

2-0, Rooney goal on freekick!!! :D

And the smile is back! :P

Fair enough,I didn't see it it's just what I heard, seen the Rooney goal though brilliant.

Edit:just seen the Young incident, clear dive for me.

Great 3 points from Arsenal Theo was crap today but the rest in particular Rambo,Flamini and Giroud were stars, jack and Ozil were very good aswell.

Very Harsh on Sunderland the disallowed goal I admit.

It was a decent performance earlier, a bit workman-like but still it was the result we needed, the first goal was not a penalty for me it was outside the box..just, but it was a sending off and Rooney's free kick was great, Fellaini was lively on his debut and Januzaj was great when he came on and has a very bright future...Bayer Leverkusen next..

Also today Stoke were great v City, Arsenal beat Sunderland 3-1 and there were wins for Spurs and Newcastle and there were draws between Fulham-WBA, Stoke-Man City and Hull-Cardiff..

Everton 1-0 Chelsea, Naismith!!! half time now...

Well done to Everton and Bwhahahahaha screw you to Chelsea!!

I felt that we sort of ground out a result today against a Palace side that were down to 10 in the second half. On the Young incident, I would say that he deserved a booking for the first one and the ref got the second one spot on. Rooney back on form again with a stunning Ronaldo type free kick (and on the subject of Ronaldo and Real Madrid, Bale has scored on his debut).

I can't wait to see more from Januzaj and Fellaini. Januzaj for me is United's Oscar - quick on his feet and very agile, he can cross well too. Fellaini I would say is Vidic's midfield counterpart; built like a brick and good in the air

The Altidore and Young incidents earlier were complete BS, and why was the Palace defender sent off, there was another player behind them...

Promising result for Arsenal - Giroud seems to be in good form, which is excellent news. Last season there were no shortage of opportunities, but nobody wanted to put it in the net.

At this rate, Pellegrini won't see the new year .

Man city are falling fast than they came up. Chelsea just didnt live up to expectation and arsensal now have a stable central midfeilder, they still need a better defence to hit the champions league.......if they get there next year which they might looking at everyone form. Fulham should of won and spurs are doing fine without there talisman who in tern did score on his debut, nice way to start your career. Better than torres did lol

Come on united 4th!!! We gotta do better. Fellaini and Carrick will be the best midfield duo to grace uniteds turf since keane scholes, imo

Fellaini and Carrick have got nothing on Keane and Scholes.

It was a good performance by Chelsea. Just couldn't really find that final ball or that finish. Missed a few gaping holes in the first half. And after about 40 minutes. I knew today was just not going to be a good one for Chelsea. I take no shame in losing to Everton. I don't support them but, it's a team that I respect a lot. The club is run well, and they don't go mental with overpaying for players.

How much are they paying Eto'o. Didn't he used to be the highest paid footballer before his move to Stamford Bridge?

Hugely impressed with Aaron Ramsey, what a start to the season he has had!

Southampton v West Ham on now, WHU giving a PL debut to former United player Ravel Morrison in midfield, West Ham have a few injury problems..0-0 at half time, not a lot happened in that first half..

0-0 at full time, ive watched two games today and zero goals!!
