MotD will be worth watching tonight especially with that 6 goal Merseyside Derby.

Went to see Wrexham play for the first time today and it was good, they played well in a 2-0 win over Forest Green Rovers, the first goal was brilliant, good atmosphere and attendance (3083 is impressive for a conference game) but the tickets were a bit steep £19!

Just be thankful they aren't a PL team ;)

1-1 Campbell with it, Cardiff have been the better team in first half :indiff:

1-2 Evra half time...

I dont think it was a red, a yellow was fine for what was lets face it a little tap.
It was a clear red card.

A kick or an attempt at kicking an other player is red card.

But he only got yellow which was VERY lucky. Not that i'm complaining. ;)

*SIGH* 2-2 then, a late equaliser conceded and we didn't do enough to win the game, a tough away game to Leverkusen and another to Tottenham next weekend...

I have no idea what's going on with United this season, they're so inconsistent. To beat Arsenal was a fantastic achievement and then 2 weeks later, draw to an average Cardiff side is terrible. Not to mention that Rooney should have been sent off early on for that disgraceful challenge.

@Ross I wouldn't say the Rooney challenge was disgraceful, it was bad yes but not disgraceful, the Miralles studs-up tackle on Suarez was disgraceful

Also don't forget that Medel appeared to aim a punch at Fellaini and the ref didn't do much about it..

The ref who sent off Wes Brown (Kevin Friend) won't officiate for the premier league for one (maybe 2)EPL match days.

The ref who didn't send off Miralles wasn't punished nor the one who didn't send off Rooney sigh

As a Manchester United player, he should know better than to lash out though. I can't speak of the other incidents as I haven't seen them.

What do you mean "as a Manchester United player"?
I probably should have said "having been managed by Fergie for a number of years" because he never even tolerated his players lashing out.

Sad news coming out of Brazil in case you haven't heard, a crane collapsed on to one of the stands of the Sao Paolo world cup stadium which caused part of the stand to collapse, two people are dead, one seriously injured :(

So then here are this weekends games..

Saturday

Aston Villa v Sunderland
Cardiff v Arsenal
Everton v Stoke
Norwich v Crystal Palace
West Ham v Fulham
Newcastle v West Brom (Sky 5.30)

Sunday

Tottenham v Man United (Bt 12.00)
Hull v Liverpool (Sky 2.05)
Chelsea v Southampton (Sky 4.10)
Man City v Swansea

Three games shown on a bumper Sunday, Spurs v United and Chelsea v Southampton should be great and there's no way Swansea will beat City away after last nights crap showing...and Rangel and Bony limped off injured...

Martin Jol has got to go now I think, Fulham lost 3-0 to West ham, a team who have had scoring problems and they have now lost the last six games in all comps, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes at all...

Yeah, this was a must win for him. Losing by 3 is probably the final straw. He may have had a bit of hope if they only lost 1-0 but getting hammered (no pun intended) is bad

Aaron Ramsey continuing his stellar form. Martin Jol on the verge, and Pompey get a point at Hartlepool, not a bad afternoon.

A thing that Jeff on Soccer Saturday mentioned is that Lukaku has scored 25 league goals since the start of last season, in that time all of Chelsea's strikers have scored...14!, what Mourinho was thinking letting him out on loan again I have no idea...

Pleased to see Arsenal grab three points over Cardiff, we won more comfortably than I thought we would. Ramsey and Koscielny were class, good to see Ozil assisting again as well.

Hopefully a routine 3 points against Hull on Wednesday and im also hopeful of Chelsea and Liverpool dropping points over the next week ;)

Watching Arsenal attack is amazing, Mourinho and AVB should watch and take note of it because at the moment, Chelsea and Spurs are just wasting talent despite being similar in terms of personnel.

Here's what I think the two of them should play, both in a 4-1-4-1 formation, best XI, but they both can produce two teams.

Chelsea:

Cech
Ivanovic, Azpelicueta, Terry, Cole
Ramires
Oscar, Mata, Hazard, Lampard
Torres

Spurs:
Lloris
Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose
Paulinho
Lamela, Eriksen, Holtby, Dembele
Soldado

The front 5 not strictly holding their starting position, but covering for another player that roams away, at the moment it's almost impossible to defend against.
