Coke 600 picks:

#18 Kyle Busch
#20 Matt Kenseth (having trouble deciding between him and Kahne, which means Kahne will win)
#48 Jimmie Johnson (mandatory)

Denny could be a good pick. I really didn't think he would be all that competitive that quickly after his injury. Proved me wrong at Darlington. :dunce:

Yeah, but so far this year I've been going with my gut feeling, and my gut is saying go with Kyle.

I did select for the All-Star race. Wonder why it wasn't recorded.

They weren't there when I did the standings(blame Google), I saw them when I was doing the reminder though and your CP will show on the standings for the 600.👍

FML, guess my lead is over after this week, it was a good run

We had two of the same cars, so I should only make up about 13 points, the difference between where the 5 and 20 cars finished. The five car winning would have been big, but the late caution ruined that for me.

But Patrick could have had some good picks and leapfrog us both

His three picks would have to have averaged an 8th place finish to pass you in total points last night.

While definitely possible, it seems unlikely that he would have passed you this week, with all the good cars that had bad days (2/16/18/20/24/43/48/55/88). Your lead is way bigger than you seem to think it is.

Picked 18, 20 and 48. Got 38th, 15th and 22nd. I blame Montoya for taking out Kenseth and Johnson. :grumpy:

Except it was Truex who took out both of them.

I don't think Truex necessarily took out Jimmie Johnson. I think they were just too close together in the corner and the air moved the rear of Jimmie's car out from under him, starting his slide.

One thing is for sure though, Montoya didn't take out anyone. He simply got caught up in the accordian of cars slowing up behind Jimmie. Menard ran into Montoya who ran into Kenseth while they all started slowing down. It happens.

I meant it as it was Montoya that hit both Kenseth and Johnson, not that it was necessarily his fault for the wreck.

Don't go changing the story now.:lol:

Well I can hardly blame him for Johnson drifting now can I... :dopey:

Anyway I see it as revenge as somebody told me to pick Montoya earlier in the day
