Vettel setting fast lap on old tires. That man is completely on another level than all the other drivers out here
 
Very hard to judge tyres here. Doesn't sound like there's much between them.
 
As cool as a night race is and how it brings a different challenge to the drivers. I still think the Singapore Street Circuit looks much better during the day.

I just love the ambiance at Singapore. All I'm noticing is the funny in-car radio (see: Hulkenberg).

20 laps in and still hasn't pitted. How is he getting twice the tire life everyone else is?
 
Just remember 8 SCs in 5 years.

This race can still be turned on its head.

now if you can just say something about a certain RBR combined with a gearbox failure of some sort *cough*

Paul Di Resta and FI are the big winners of that Safety car I'd say since they pulled out 1.5x the life of everyone else.
 
Now you mention it, Vettel is doing really well this race, that new gearbox is doing wonders.
 
Such a long SC period , given that the wreckage was cleared 2 laps ago...

Those back markers are the reason it's taking so long.
 
Its a day for it to be honest. Blancpain 1000 going on at the moment, had a massive crash with a Ferrari and it took the marshalls 10 minutes to acknowledge there was debris on the track and bring an SC out.

This one's probably going to hit 2 hours at 59 or 60 laps. I'll be surprised if this goes the full distance.
 
Vettel already opening a gap. He is amazing. Love watching him race.
