Just a quick note, make sure you guys are fasting before going into your appointments. It says on the paper in the emails we got today to fast for 12 hours, and they have been making a big deal about it at some of the appointments from what I have been hearing. Just a heads up....

I said I had one bowl of cereal early this morning and the lady acted like the world was ending. I had to reschedule. :grumpy:

They didn't ask me at all. Hmmm, I sure hope they actually ran the right test.
 
Where did it say on the form that Fasting was required?

*edit* nvm I see it now. I'm not too worried. Half the USA contestants would be disqualified lol.

That really is just so they can get the most accurate read on your bodies mineral levels. Wont affect their testing for the serious stuff.

i didnt know i had to fast, but i didnt eat for over 12 hours and skipped breakfast because i had been so busy a work lol. I guess it all worked out.
 
I didn't see anything about fasting, and no one mentioned anything. I ate a sandwich right before the hour drive I had to do to get to the center :lol: Besides, I got those forms 4 hours before my appointment.

Hopefully it's not a big deal

I only fasted for 6 hours due to not being able to do mine in the AM because we were missing a form. Had to go back at 2:30pm to do mine. Oh well, it'll have to do with the time constraints we're in.
 
Update on my Saturday morning experience. The extremely rude woman and the counter let me know that it was appointment only on Saturdays but that they would still see me. I tried to let her know in advance that it would be different but she did not want to talk. After an hour of waiting she calls me to the counter and looks at the paperwork then back to me like I was trying to scam her.

After 10 minutes of going back and forth she finally says "fine, we can do it, but I can't guarantee it will be correct".

Here's hoping it was done correctly haha.

Same thing happened to me except the rude part lol. They were confused about the papers. So i called the number they provided me with in the email and the lady from NY set them straight.
 
Yeah yesterday i had the day from hell. The lab a went to didn't want to accept the billing code that was given in the paperwork. I called Robin had her talk with the lab tech still didn't want to accept it I waited three hours! :banghead: trying to get them to except the dang billing code until i had it and just payed out of pocket.
 
:lol: I must be the only one that had a smooth procedure.

made an appointment, showed up with the paper work... she looked around at it confused for a minute then found what she needed and gave me the choice of arm.
in-and-out in ~5m.

She refused to call the number. Just took the fax number from me.


My question for everyone is how many vials did they take from you?
