Interesting R2 down at Rob Austin racing:

Rob Austin 13th (started 13th):

“I dragged as much pace out of the car as I could but we’re still a bit off and I couldn’t hold back Tordoff and Hynes. I also can’t remember it ever having been so hot in a racing car before! Towards the end the tyres were going off and I had an ‘old friend’ from earlier in the season simply ram into the back of my car with a despicable move. Luckily Sherman stood up to it and I could get him home although there is quite a bit of damage for the boys to repair for race 3 (pictured).”

Hunter Abbott 24th (started 20th):

“Rob Holland turned me round on the first lap and it cut the electrics. So I had to get out of the car, switch them back on, get back in the car and do my belts up before I could get going again. By that time I’d lost a lap to everyone and it’s a shame because the general pace of the car was quite a bit better than in race 1…”

Bloody hell, first Jordan pulled out, and now Neal's had his spin. Snetterton looks like the worst Sunday in Fantasy BTCC terms.

I bloody love touring cars.

edit: (after a few likes, so don't think they agree with my next point :D )

hsv
Turks was rough, but hey ho, but Collard was a full-on ram.

I don't think Turk was too rough in that one at all. The incident with Neal was just that, an incident... it even looks like Turk had locked up by the time he tapped Matt. Collard, well it does look like he "leaned" Gio off the track. Happy for the VW's, and also for Motorbase.

I don't even think what Turks did was intentional, just looked like an honest mistake.

Hopefully he's fast enough anyway at Knockhill to win R1 still anyway, he's got a very good chance of being able to do the triple.

He didn't gain a lasting advantage though.
Still can't nail cars off when you feel like it.

Definitely wasn't, but unfortunately it's not an argument that holds up well with the stewards.

I swear there was a lot more dirty driving towards the back and nothing happened.

Pretty sure cars got spun around more than twice and no action taken...

Actually, didn't notice Holland/Geddie got nothing. Bit inconsistent really. :odd:

This is what I mean.

And in that case where is Jack Clarkes penalty for putting Lea Wood totally sideways (not that he needs an invite to do that anyway!) in middle of Cascades in R3 at Oulton?

Gio on Clarke

Must've been standing quite close to me. That was the funniest move of the year. You just don't bail into the back of your teammate.
