Dont think there should be an argument over who's car is faster than who's. It's about the racing produced by the series. Ginetta Juniors is quite often the best racing on the BTCC weekends!

At Knockhill the Porsche races were the most boring off the weekend.

Anyone fancy a drive in a toyota?

Yeah... that's not great news. Terribly ironic for the team, since Cole's main sponsor is a road safety group.

A series statement said that, after a meeting on Tuesday September 23, it was decided that Neal's remarks "are prejudicial and have brought the championship into disrepute", with penalties being imposed under regulation 4.4.4.

Team Dynamics has thus been fined £25,000, with its two TBLs - currently used by Neal and Gordon Shedden - revoked, but both penalties have been suspended until December 31, 2015.

The statement continued: "Team Dynamics and Matt Neal are highly valued participants in the BTCC, whose participation spans more than two decades. Their deep and long-term commitment to this championship is greatly respected and valued.

"In view of this the championship administrator suspends both penalties until December 31 2015, on which date these will be discharged if no further infractions occur during that time."

in other words a probation.

Am I the only person seeing it as "If the engine's your fix for next year, go ahead, but if you start complaining about it then we kick you out"?

Not really he said give us more power or we will quit, thats blackmail.
ah, didn't see that i thought it was just a complaint about their lack of power to journos, not an actual demand at them.

Given that Neal is involved with the running of the Team with his dad, it makes sense.

It was basically "If you don't get the Honda's further up the speed traps we'll leave BTCC".

meh, if they left Honda would just move to WSR i reckon.

they have past History in the Super touring era and arguably a better a team anyway.
