Not enough time for a Massa pass. I think Lewis may want to try and defend that... especially considering Rosberg is now down in ninth.

As much as I despise Hamilton, you can't argue with ten wins to five. So congratulations to him.

Edit: Good on ya, Nico. It's a shame the race had to end with mechanical maladies getting in the way.

Feel sorry for Nico, guy has 2015 to look forward to but man... He's probably going to be lapped by Ham on the last lap.

The engine is screwed they wont save much money by not letting him finish, also being the last race they no longer need to worry about saving engine parts.

2014 over. Lewis WDC. Shame it had to be on the back of a mechanical issue for Nico, but Lewis won that race fair and square in the very first corner. And given Lewis' number of retirements, statistics were bound to catch up with Nico eventually.

Wait... race control says one hundred point retroactive penalty for Lewis carrying foreign object in car on track. Apparently the Union Jack is considered a stanic symbol in the Middle East.

what a relief. One of the best drivers in history finally gets a 2nd WDC.
 
I thought the flag was going to get sucked into the cowl
 
Happy with that, shame Rosberg race was compromised, but the best man won.
