I thought eating ends hunger more effectively than driving.
Stewart-Haas between Harvick being sponsored by three restaurants (Jimmy Johns, Outback, Hunt Brothers Pizza) and Tony looking like he ate three Hungry Mans for breakfast probably does more to fight hunger than Gordon has in three years

Speaking of which, how the hell did that happen? I never see more then 1 Restaurant on someone's car so that's amazing, and has to be a record somewhere.

Outback is a hold-over from last year with Newman, Hunt Brothers was a longtime KHI sponsor, and Jimmy Johns came on board in 2011. Hunt Brothers though is a convenience store/gas station chain, Jimmy Johns is fast food mostly in the mid-west (Although they've been opening a few east coast stores, like the one I work at in Waldorf MD), while Outback is a sit down "fine dining" restaurant.

Three restaurants that don't compete with each other since they don't fall in the same category, that's why that happened.

About yesterday race, what have we learned:

-Kez is the new Kyle Busch (crying terms of course)
-Don't fight with aussies. NEVER.
-Gordon actually used the bumper. o.O
-Johnson's so far having a bit of a rough year, probably will rebound (that's expected).
-Teammates taking each other out (looking at you Mr. Kyle Busch)
-Tires on FIRE.

That's it I believe.

That was more of a chain reaction and Kyle not only didn't have time to check up, but he got pushed by Allgaier into Hamlin so wasn't really a flat take out.

What I took away from last night is that Brad has more mood swings then a 16 year old on her period, went from a temper tantrum to jumping on Joey's car in like two minutes

Doesn't speak volumes for his emotional stability.

It's amazing how big of an sissy kid driver Brad Keselowski is. Firstly, he wrecks Carl Edwards in 2009 so he could win at Talladega. Then at Atlanta, he bumps Carl and then Carl clips Brad, he cries like a baby (he deserved to be crashed). Now yesterday, Matt Kenseth I think blocks Brad. Brad threw a fit and decided to brake check him. He should have been disqualified or penalized for intentionally trying to wreck someone. I can say the same for Kyle Busch for his crashfests.

Talladega wasn't Brad's fault. Carl came down on him and his choices were wreck Carl or go below the yellow line and lose the win like Regan Smith did the year before.

By the sounds of things he's gone downhill though.

You had to bring this up again, didn't you. As Lancer just said, Carl came down on Keselowski at Talladega, so that one was on Edwards. Brad did bump him a bit at Atlanta, but you don't target another person and that's what Carl did. There was also that deal at Milwaukee where Carl dumped Brad for the win, leading to Brad's car being destroyed along with 1/3 of the field. Since then, Carl mellowed back out and Brad has been quite whiny, but that's why I don't watch the interviews, and stopping on track was dumb, but he did it ON TRACK where only the cars and drivers were. They could have been really stupid and done it on Pit Road, and would have been penalized then.

You have gotten both of those races completely wrong. Carl came down on Brad (at a time where NASCAR really tightened down on the Yellow Line rule) and got taken into the air. At Atlanta, Carl again came down on him and spun. None of those were intentional (which made Carl's move on him later on in the Atlanta race unnecessary).

You couldn't be any more wrong if you were actively trying.

I wound up driving a Brad Keselowski #2 Dodge Charger. That was so much fun. If you've ever wanted to try it, you have to do it. It's worth every dollar.

Our of curiousity, was it another one of those detuned ones from the driving experience? I may sound abit nuts when I say this, but I really wish they would let people drive the actual cars in their original specs and not in a castrated spec.

That will never happen because some idiot would crash the car and sue claiming, "It had a lot more power than I can handle." :grumpy: In honor of Talladega next Sunday, I will present you with several old-school races in case the race sucks:

The main instructor said all of the cars are bought directly from the Cup teams, with everything except engines in them. They put a decently-built Chevy small block in the car, making just under 500 hp. I don't know how high their new motor revs, but it's limited to 5k RPMs for new drivers, and 5400 RPMs during the third and final segment for people who purchase the three segment package.

I bought the single segment package, and kept it just barely under the limiter after taking two laps to get comfortable on the track. It was plenty fast, and very fun to drive.

At that power level, you can run around the track wide open the whole way, and the car was still very comfortable in the corners.

Double the power, and drivers would need to let off in the corners, which means someone would be way more likely to wreck a vehicle.

I can't imagine them letting just anyone come in and drive that car, all alone, with nearly double that power from a real Cup engine.

Ignoring the serious cost issue that would require (gas, tires, engine rebuilds), using Cup engines would never happen. Most of the people there were definitely not car or racing enthusiasts. Most of the people there were lucky to break 110 to 120 mph.

So....... Is this competition for Petty? Or has the Petty Driving Experience been bought by NASCAR?
I did a ride along at Richmond for my 14th birthday present. It was pretty cool just to be in the car.

I think Petty still operates a group, but this was the "Mario Andretti/NASCAR Experience."

Sorry that I was wrong, and just to piss you off and insure that you would reply to my post I was actively trying. Do you have a problem with that kind Sr.? Don't you at least agree that Brad is a whining little girl and has mood swings like @Ganon83 said or are you one of Brads praetorian guards?

I just saw the entry list for Talladega. I thought Bobby Labonte was going to drive for all the plate races this year? Did something happen?

What a joke...

Ambrose: $25k fine, probation until May 28th.
Mears: $15k fine, probation until May 28th.
Keselowski: No penalty at all.

The lesson learned here... wreck every car you want to post-race, potentially putting drivers and people on pit road at risk of injury.. just don't fight outside of the cars in the garage area.
