2014 National/Regional Finals training - Private Preparation Races and Sparring

The upshift paddle on my G27 is starting to play up; it occasionally bounces and registers a double-shift. I've managed to find three quarters of the receipt (don't ask) including the serial number and the date of purchase, so I should be able to get a replacement. In the meantime, I'll have to use a button to substitute for the glitchy paddle. :irked:

I won't say no to that just yet, but North American GT Academy finalists will take priority for the race if we don't have enough available spots on the grid for everyone.

A couple of questions:
  1. How many spots will be available? (Fifteen?)
  2. Aside from North American finalists, will priority be decided by round 4 times?
I hope there's enough room for me to join in... :nervous:

It's just going to be first come first serve on race day, no sign up :)

If you can make the event, please reply to this post submitting your interest and how likely it is you'll be making it.

Sorry ive been inactive guys, school and work have been taking too much time off of my hands. Been super busy.

@Wardez please dont remove me from the list, i will try to get make some time soon.

Ok, so we're doing a test run of the mini-championship tomorrow starting at 3pm (click here to see the time in your time zone).

Here's the format:


Let's finalize some of the details so we'll be on the same page:
  • I will be hosting the race (GTP_Wardez).
  • Jordan and I will be spectating, doing commentary, and live streaming it.
  • We're capping the room at 14, so that will leave 12 spots for drivers. This is to reduce the chance of network issues.
  • Four 15-20 minute races. Silvia TC @ ---- ---- -----, 370Z @ ---- --- -----------, GT-R Black Edition @ --- ---- ----, GT-R NISMO GT3 Base Model @ --- -------------. (track will be revealed before each race, 5 minute qualifying, then straight into the race.
  • We're not restricting this to any particular type of driver, but just know that the competition will be extremely tough.
  • 1st - 12pts, 2nd - 11 pts, 3rd - 10 points, 4th - 9 points, etc.
  • We will be docking points for bad driving we see.

We need standard tunes, identical diff, suspension, transmission etc or it will just be tune vs tune. Like all of gt6 online. I don't think I've ever lost a one make. But I lose all the time the other way.

Tunes are prohibited. Everyone is on the same playing field.
 
I've bought all the cars and am ready to go, but I'm having trouble finding the room, could you please post the room number.

Common error, not sure what causes it, and I also don't know how to fix it, sorry :/
 
Just researched it and apparently it's down to the room already being open when I sent the FR and that the only way to fix it is to restart the room. With that the case I'll leave you guys to It and race with you all another day 👍
