I know it's a bit off topic, but are any of you gonna be competing in the FIA GT6 Online Championship next year? I certainly will! :D
Is that a fancy word for GT Academy 2015 or did i miss something?

I AM SLOW. That is all. Adios.
Download every race replay and study them. It's just like in the GT Academy rounds; learn what others do differently. There aren't many opportunities like right now to watch many of the best go at it on the same track. Take advantage of it.

As a side note: I recommend using Sports Hard tires on the Silvia racing car.

Heyy! I have a suggestion. If this is the best racing of the year, why don't we make a thread to make it all year around? So if any of us don't have anything to do, we can set up a lobby at any time and race like what we're doing now. But instead of this only being like a few weeks of great racing and meeting you guys, we'll have a thread we can do it all year around. :)

Sadly there's no way to get consistently good racing at this level. Anyway, that's like saying, " why don't we just have Christmas every month!" Part of its specialness is the wait ;)

But at any rate, you're free to start up a club with a core of people you've met from here. Call it the Bleacher Academy (clean racing/ we'll clean you up).

The same thing kind of gets thrown around every year, a variation of "let's all keep racing each other after GT Academy." For some, including myself, school starts back up and it becomes nigh impossible to race with any frequency. For others GT loses its appeal after multiple months of playing it nearly every single day, followed by an incredibly stressful competition. But, some do continue to race in leagues and series, and that's where I'd recommend you go to get this sort of racing all year. I'd love to be able to race with other top notch guys every week, but working full-time and going to school full-time means the only time I even get to pick up GT is pretty much when I get a holiday break.

Oh I'm sure I'll try to enter, it sounds very intriguing. :mischievous:

So does anyone have plans this weekend for some practice rooms? I'm busy during the week so the weekends are the best times I can put in some laps.

Jordan and I will be hosting a mini-National final "championship" on Sunday which will be livestreamed on GTPlanet's official Youtube channel. Exact time is still yet to be determined, but it'll most likely be around 23 GMT.

If you can make the event, please reply to this post submitting your interest and how likely it is you'll be making it.

And, as always, make sure you have GTP_Wardez added on PSN.

Wow, count me in! Should be interesting to see who manages to come out on top.

Room up, set to private to avoid what happened yesterday. Friend request me if you want to join or aren't already a friend..

Open to GTP members outside of USA? This is actually on at a good time here in New Zealand so I should be able to make it.

As for the cars are these the only ones that will be run?:

Updated numbers for the cars with an oil change
  • Silvia Spec-R Aero (S15) '02 - [258hp - 440pp]
  • Fairlady Z Version S (Z33) '07 - [326hp - 463pp]
  • Fairlady Z (Z34) '08 - [348hp - 468pp]
  • Skyline GT-R V-Spec II NUR (R34) '02 - [353hp - 479pp]
  • SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) Touring Car '02 - [372hp - 514pp]
  • GT-R Black Edition '12 - [569hp - 553pp]
  • GT-R NISMO GT3 Base Model '13 - [570hp - 606pp]
  • GT-R R35 Touring Car - [687hp - 623pp]
  • 2013 Deltawing - [361hp - 696pp]
You may have to reset the suspension in your cars to get onto the track. Most of them gained rear toe since the last update but apparently, only for cars bought post patch.

To spice things up just a bit, I'll be giving away a copy of GTPEDIA: GTPlanet's Ultimate Guide to the World of Gran Turismo to the winner of our live stream event on Sunday. :)

I won't say no to that just yet, but North American GT Academy finalists will take priority for the race if we don't have enough available spots on the grid for everyone.
