If you want to know what torture is, try this:

Deltawing
Sports Hard
Matterhorn Dristele
Run 3 fast laps without any practice whatsoever

Anyone that can run it without spinning out gets a cookie.

A great night of racing with some of the best once again. Very cool to race with such an elite group. Thanks to all of you guys who made it out tonight, I appreciate the extreme level of competition. I started to get a little sloppy in the closing races, I think my eyes even shut in the middle of a corner hahaha just kidding. My level of focus definitely went up after only two days of racing with you guys. But it falls off when it gets too late here. Goin to bed, I'll see you guys in the near future... Thanks again!

Some good races tonight. My pace isn't quite there but at least I'm still consistent. Best part of the night was running the racing Silvia at Suzuka in the rain with Sports Hards. Manageable at 30% flat but then we tinkered with the room settings. Not even thirty seconds into the second race, just about everyone spun as the track got wetter by the second. I survived won that race. :)

Hey Guys, pretty new to all this, didn't manage to get a time on the Spa Qualifier, ended up about 53rd in the UK, more that I couldn't get a consistent lap together I had a 1:15.1xx if I could just get it together I'm sure you all had similar frustrations! But I had a couple goes at that Facebook mini game, didn't think much of it, and was about 45th in the UK, so kinda just left it and resolved to improve for next year.... But I've just had an e-mail inviting me to the UK Mini Game final... really unexpected so definitely want to get my name down for this and try to improve in the coming weeks!

Thanks for hosting @tguns16. I need a tutorial to online racing as I am a newb. First, how do you you get the driver view you want right out of the pits? At the start of the race i was always in cockpit view and had to switch. Second, how were you adjusting PPs without tuning or weight change?

I didn't really care for whoever said i didn't belong last night, but that will just give me more motivation for next year. (Disclaimer)For picking up the game the first time in the middle of round 1 to finishing @ 240 in round 4 at my first attempt for GT academy I didn't think I did half bad. Right now i suffer mainly for only knowing the 4 tracks and cars used in each of the 4 rounds.

The view you get at the start is an issue that needs to be addressed from PD.

All cars we are using have an oil change. That will increase the hp/tq/pp a bit.

You will improve over time as you learn the tracks. Maybe just continue to practice as much as possible and just avoid contact with others at all costs. The main goal for this event is to get all the fastest guys together to get them prepped for the finals. I'm not saying you can't attend, that's not my place, but perhaps you could also look into other online events to get a feel for racing in packs. And be sure to have the proper cars found on page 1.

Thanks Adrian. With disappointment ,I love to go to finals but first thing first, need permission from my boss (my wife), this could be big Lamanche 24H with all tricks ::::))))

Dang sucks you can't make it gt adam looks like your chances are geting lil better Donald!!!
Need 6 more to have the same misfortune or other issue. Hoping that some of the folks between 28th and (my) 35th spot who aren't on GTPlanet cannot make the trip.

Either way, still proud of my achievement and still feeling gutted for GT_ADAM_US

Question: is it required for the people who are not going to attend the national finals in NY to respond/reply accordingly to the email or will GTA/PD/Nissan/Sony just select the next driver in line if nothing is received after the 5 day deadline?

In the email's content there is a line that states if you wish to opt out you have to fill it out and return to them.

So feasibly, if the person doesn't respond they could hurt the next drivers in line by doing so?
