I tried the game and it wouldn't register my score, just kept spinning? I also notice Aus isn't in the country selection?

I think qualifying is for the EU region only unless you're talking about Austria!

I've had that before, you just have to retry, I think that's just a general app weakness when connected to the database it's using?

The only thing I can think of is that they don't want any previous experience from the real world driving challenges in the Territory final to give anyone an advantage.
In my opinion this ruling is quite harsh for those of you who have a shot at making it that far...
EDIT: Just re-read this and based on my interpretation it's not 100% guaranteed that you will NOT be eligible for future GT Academys.
It still begs to ask the question why they would put that rule in.
EDIT #02: If this ruling is amended in 2015 and beyond to exclude territory finalists it will be counter-productive because you will end up with territory finals that don't have the best eligible gamers by virtue of some of them electing not to participate.
Looks like another case of the bean-counters and pencil-pushers having a say in something they haven't thought through properly 👎. At least they had the common sense to have a maybe in rule 1.5 as opposed to a will not 👍.

We used the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 N24 Shulze Motorsport and the track was Brands Hatch Grand prix.
The car was stock on racing hards tires with traction control on 1, and the phisics where diferent from the game, they were using a GT Academy demo with only single player option and a nissan dealership.
The event was planed to start at 10h, I get there around 10:30 (cus I´ve mess up the trains schedule) and there was already some strong guys that I knew from the 2012 final on the line.
The morning did´t went very well, I was in 3rd or 4th when the fastest time was 23.677 and I was starting to get piss off so I´ve made a tactical decision that later on the day did pay of, I whent to lunch
, I´m always faster on a full belly...Three slices of pizza a coke and a cofe later I whent back to the line, all the top guys where still there with no improvement on the times.
After a while everyone start to leave to have lunch and the line get really small, so on the second try after luch on my first lap I do 23.465 on the second lap 23.423 and mess up the third.
"OK I´m in first, all the guys are having lunch, so no presure now" I thought to myself, the next try on a diferent pod i´ve made a 23.495 lap, I did not improve but I was getting consistent times.
Two trys later and I go to a pod that nobody liked, I´ve mess up my first lap, on the second I do 23.7xx and then on the third I get a beautiful first corner take a chance on the harpin getting on the power early getting a nice rotation on exit, do a clean pass on graham and get a nice slide on surtees entry that allowed me to get on the power really soon and get a really nice run on the fast part of the track, after the last corner the gost was miles behind, but as it was a 23.7xx gost I really could´n tell how much in front I was, as soon I pass the finish line and I saw the 22.964 i could not believe and screem like a mad man
all the guys from the organization rush to my pod to see the time.All this arround 14:30h with all the others guys having lunch
, when they all came back they could´t belive the time and as the afternoon is allways more crowded they would have less trys to post a times, so my decision on having lunch sooner did realy pay off.Now lets see what can I do next sunday on the final

I asked one of my friend who was at race camp. He said "He has been awarded a race seat at Dubai 24hrs by nissan middle east"
