I wonder if you're allowed to choose your degrees of steering. I've been using 400 the last while and it's almost impossible for me to drive with a full 900 now.

The way it's set up is the way you have to drive it.

Is it the same cramped sleds as last year?

I'm pretty sure the 370Z has more grip in real life than it does on Comfort Hards

Purely out of interest, I decided to run 5 laps myself and managed a 1:55.974, with a low 1:55 in sight. It's all about being able to hold the car right on the limit; go over, the car will slide and you'll lose time.

Would love to be able to chat on the stream itself, but you need Facebook to do so. :yuck:

Here is my tribute to last year’s US 2013 GT Academy season. I think it’s something you guys might get a kick out of it. I really enjoyed watching the series in television and the surprise ending was so interesting to me that I did this GT6 edit. Nick was also pleasantly surprised when I showed him this edit some months ago. Hopefully this new 2014 NA GT Academy season will be just as exiting and inspire me to do a follow-up edit. My congratulations to all contenders for making it to this competition and hope they will enjoy this experience.

...and just like that, the race was over. If you didn't get a chance to see the final episode of the 2013 US GT Academy Championship, well, here is your chance. Just in case, SPOILER ALERT, watch the video. It was an almost certainty Christopher Hill, car 33, was going to get the win, he dominated the whole race. Outback, Nick McMillen in car 28, had a lousy start and dropped to 3rd. He eventually persevered, quickly reached 2nd and gaining steadily on Chris. Although, Nick was slightly faster than Chris, it would be another thing to pass him in the last lap. Only thing to do is to keep on the pressure, wait for a mistake and have the win come to him…and then it happened.

They just adjusted the white balance.

I was just waiting for you to start shimmering.

Good stuff so far. Thanks for hosting the stream! Gonna be interesting if you've got enough stuff to talk about for the rest of the day lol. Excited to hear the outcome tonight though.

I made an account, and to be able to chat, you need to sync your facebook with it. Idk, it's what I had to do.

Will the 12 be decided today or this an all weekend thing?

Does anyone know the standings?
They'll be decided and announced at the end of the day, though we won't cover that on the stream.

We'll cover the standings when we are back from lunch.

Thanks @Jordan

Are they going to keep the final 12 secret or something?

Definitely not secret, it's just that the top 12 in the points standings at the end of these live races will not necessarily be the top 12 who go through due to their auto x performance yesterday. Once again, it will be announced as soon as the results have been determined.

Hmm. That's odd. Have you tried making an account on Twitch to see if it fixes the problem?

I have a Twitch account, but now it's useless without linking to a Facebook account.
I have a strong aversion to Facebook, mainly because I was encouraged forced to join by my sister just because she wanted to make more progress on FarmVille. :yuck: The endless notifications and requests didn't help, either; even enough I rarely actually signed in, I kept getting loads of useless and annoying e-mails. In the end I decided enough was enough and disabled my account. </facebook rant>

Dangit, if Jordan recapped the standings, I missed it with a stream reload or work interuption.
