Since today is official open the GT6 server I am now downloading the updat of a 1200MB

In preparation to moving over to GT6 tomorrow, I would like to announce that I will be using my original PSN ID of 'Gadget333'. (instead of 'Gadget334') moving forwards. This is because I have Playstation Plus on my '333' account and as I now play Gran Turismo more than any other game it makes sense to make the move when I'm about to start a brand new game instal.

Has anyone else noticed a bug in the sound of the engines for some of the GT3 cars? When you start an offline race, for the first 10-15 seconds the engines just whoosh like wind noise and then finally you hear the proper engine note kick in, after which it's fine for the rest of the race.

Haven't noticed that no, sounds strange.. Have only driven the GT3s a little so far though.. want to progress in the career a bit first and the free time is a bit sparse at the moment. Did meet Rich in a random online lobby when I why was trying that out though. ^^ He's a fast one, he won in his Tommi Mäkinen Evo over my NSX on the nurb.

Yeah, it seems to happen at Bathurst quite often to me.

Yeah I get it too, the solution is to move the engine through the rev range while on the throttle (Usually changing down to 2nd for a tight corner then up to 6th in the middle of it will do the trick). Personally other then the fact it's really quite I thought the just transmission and wind noise was a lot more realistic from the onboards I've seen but oh well.
