Today marks the last day of the reign of the Green Hell Heathens in the Wurks Nurbingring Online 24hr Race.

I wish to personally hand over the title to the winners in this post, I honestly wish the best team to take the mantle from the race.

Despite my differences with the organisers I wish them all the very best for the race and for the future. There were some hard words said but, at the end of the day, I actually have no serious bad words - The guys, Matt johnny et al, have actually done a very good job to get the event where it is and the level of professionalism with the event presentation cannot be denied.

Best of luck to all contestants, I have run 48 consecutive hours of this race and I fully appreciate what it takes to run it, without sleep and sans team members at times, so you ALL have my utmost respect.

Good luck out there drivers, you will definitely need it. STAY CALM, DON'T PUSH WHEN NOT REQUIRED AND ABOVE ALL ELSE MAINTAIN CONSISTENCY because it is that consistency that will win the event, not fast laps.

Go hard but go safe.

Welcome to the 3rd annual Gran Turismo Nurburgring 24Hour race hosted this year by GTPlanet. It is that time of year again and although no longer under the banner of Wurks.ca, this year’s event promises to be as strong as ever with 7 confirmed teams having contested the N24 Car Selection Series. This is a truly global series with entrances from all over the world.

We are still looking to sign up more teams for an entry list of at least 12 cars so it’s not too late to get involved if you think you and your team has what it takes to triumph over this grueling event.


The event will be run on Gran Turismo 6 and as such may result in revisions to the following information. This will be done as and when possible and will be mentioned in the thread, however it is the responsibility of the teams to keep abreast of these changes and respond accordingly.

Time to start preparing for next year Sadly I didn't find out about this till today, about 2 hours into the race. Next year I'd like to enter with a team of 3-4.
