Great, whats gonna left for am teams will be probably fiat 500 and 15 years old horse, but hey could be worse

HaHa....not quite that bad. What is actually left for the 2 remaining teams to choose from is:-

1. Audi R8 LMS Oreca
2 BMW M3 GT2 'Base Model'
3 BMW M3 GT2 Motorsport #1' *

*As previously stated, the Motorsport BMW can be substituted for another 'Base' model BMW M3 if the team prefers to paint and number the car in their team livery. Both cars are identical in terms of spec and performance.

Over to CGR now for their turn. We are running ahead of the agreed schedule but ig CGR are happy to pick early we can get this all done and dusted before the one off Christmas fun event I'm running the 'Christmas Team Cup Down Under'.

I'll be posting a proper Drivers Briefing on that Friday

No it's fine. Car's are specced the same so as with the BMW M3's, if a team prefers the Base Model over the (in this case) Schulze model so they can paint and number, that is perfectly OK.

Just CGR left to pick before you and there are 2 BMW's still available so if it is the Beemer you like you are assured there will be one for you, but you must wait for CGR to declare on this thread first.

Let me check about using the '10 version. Livery is actually for LM class rather than the VLN livery of the '11 version, but in its favour it sports a #79 race number, where the '11 version has race #1 which is the same as the Z4 being used by TOR. Makes sense to me to have a different number but let me check with CORE to be sure.
 
Only the cars that are speced are allowed, I know it says the 10 is the same spec but there is a good chance they will not be the same spec due to the years development. I also don't have time to check this so I will not allow it in
 
Late night osmosis training & preparation tape via " on board classix's " @ YouTube. You guys who are into watching VLN Series from the driver side view (full race & other tracks) you can subscribe to 100's of these too. It's good knowledge for picking professional safe passing zones and to see how long real VLN drivers follow before passing as well'. I love them!!!

still stuck on two drivers m8..the unfortunate part is that i'm in the back of beyond,and the teamate i do have will have to make a 300 mile trip to join me..he's happy with that, but still, a 3rd committed driver is proving pretty hard to find.:banghead:. are 3 drivers compulsory?
 
I think they are pretty set on everyone being at least 3, even if you could make it with just two it's better if two can be awake at all times so that someone can be team manager and communicate through skype with the organisers and stuff.
 
It is a 3 driver team event, keep looking though this thread as people are trying to form teams and people might be willing to travel ;)

Just to let the Am teams know if Pro teams sign up then they are well within their rights to take your car if they wish to.... If you kick off about this then you will removed from the series as Am teams are only running to fill the grid.

We will be allowing the full 16 grid incase we get over 12 teams signed up for the VLN, which does mean that cars may double up, but Am teams will be racing for their own points
 
Oh yeah sorry I forgot that you were only in for the VLN, so you don't really need an official racesuit or anything.
