1'04.020 for me ~730th place right now.

Also, at PSN attached to a Canadian flag in 49th right now - Thanks_Eh

I laughed at this too. Even though I don't know many Canadians that say this, I know you Americans will get a giggle from it, but I'm waiting to see a leaderboard time with the name Aboot_Time

I agree on the those two turns being utter lap wreckers (in the GT academy sense).

I've been chipping away at my time so much I'm tempted to call it a sculpture, it's about 7 one hundredths behind you at 1:03.597 but there's more than 100 drivers within that gap.

Yeah, it's crazy how tight all the times are, a tenth can boost you up well over 100 places. I always thought our speed was very evenly matched from the CoTW races, a 20 minute race and we could be separated by less than a tenth across the line. I remember the first time I saw you, I was watching the race from the lobby, seeing your driving inputs gave me a chuckle, you were doing everything how I would have done, for a moment I had to double check it wasn't a replay :sly:

1:04.680 GTP=Lewyman
PSN=Heyagarn

Did a 1:04.8xx on my second full lap, and didn't beat it for about 15 minutes of trying.
I will keep trying a few days here and there until rego closes

Hi guys, im just register here, and i did 1.03.938 with Log G27, ABS 1. really hard to down the time... It is my first time in GTAcademy, i hope to improve my lap but i do not like...

Great time! Go the Aussies :) I'm struggling to get below 1:03.5XX but I am using a DS3 I really feel the wheel would have a bit more control on this one especially with the last corner that is where I'm losing a good .200 nearly every lap. Any advice on this last corner would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

1:03.549 putting me in 259th in the world. Well for now at least... Good luck everyone :gtpflag:

Go as wide as you can brake a little as to not unbalance the car and always keep an eye on those cones and aim for them

Only really applies to Mr. Holland and the other M.E./S.A. finalists.
Don't forget @TiZzla - I thought he was really unlucky, but that slip up at Stowe really cost him.

Hopefully the errors made in bringing Dan & Tony over in 2010 and putting them through Race Camp with epic jetlag will be corrected this year.
Look at you all friendly and purple. Sure :P
"Friendly" is my middle name.

Anyway, this is a 1'04.1 replay. If anyone slower than this wants to use it as a ghost or a Data Logger guide to bridge the gap twixt them and @Doodle then feel free to download it.

Push up on ur dpad & lines will be removed :)

Thanks!

Is it possible to load the ghost-replay from the first, without having the blue lines from my friends too? If I load the replay, I can see only the ghost of doodle, my friends got the blue line.

I want only the ghost on track, is this somehow possible without deleting the PSN-friendslist? lol

I don't think so, if you turn off the ghosts, you turn them all off.

Tizzla (Tony Autridge) is a Kiwi so doesn't apply to him this Academy.

@Famine , do you have a link for this or any reference to where you are getting your info from?

Just curious to see the rules and regs and see if they have changed anything else. Don't see why this rule would have changed though as last time it was ran it was an 'International' race camp.

I haven't posted any information...
Previous Race Camp finalists have never been eligible.

However... It may be the case that ANZ competitors who were previously in the 2010 Europe Race Camp may be eligible for the 2014 International Race Camp as it's technically a different competition...
On reflection, I think the first finalists weren't excluded from the second final, since I recall Luca Lorenzini was in both.

Yeah sorry mate, I thought you may have had some inside info from the regs or something that haven't been released yet.

Yeah I remember Luca went to 2 race camps and so did another Italian (can't remember his name off the top of my head). Ever since though it has stated in the rules that previous race camp attendees were ineligible.

All good, just wondered if you had a source or if it was just speculation. Sorry for the confusion.

, ranked 6,660th. No ABS, just me and the Wheel, and automatic transmission.

I'm too damn courteous of a driver, even in a videogame.

Time to adjust RA brake Bias and AIM for the cones to shave a full second, for any chance to top 1,000.

I wonder if those who achieved top time, can do it consistently, or did they get away with a lucky controlled freefall gravity after the start/finish line?

I know where I can gain much time, and that is the left hander (turn 3). I've gained already quarter seconds there, knowing my exit speed there is still way too slow (leading to chicane). If I can air-kiss the cone there and give up some inhibitions, I'll try not to laugh to lose all that time in the final bend.

Does anyone have any luck with weight shifting this leaf? the leaf has no weight to shift!

If you check the video I uploaded of my current fastest lap you'll notice the previous laps also on there, I've had 4/5/6 laps all on 1:03.3 yesterday. Consistency is possible and the weight and movement of the car is predictable allowing you to manipulate it in a good way :)!

1:03.969 Dready1984 Dready1984

Only did about 7 laps on my lunch break from work. Could definetly go quicker if I spent a bit of time on it.
