How on earth do you guys take turn 3????? I'm losing more than half a second in that corner alone.

It doesn't matter if I tap the brake, lift, or even look at the steering wheel. Speed goes down to 90 km/h instantly before I even get to the cones, which is mostly through a 4 wheel drift.

Oh, I also need help with the DFGT. I only used it for F1 2012, and just noticed this. Whenever I load up GT6, the steering skips a turn, then gets calibrated crooked to the left. Also, the brake pedal puts on full braking power at 1/4 travel. Is this normal??

Had a quick go before going out to meet the missus, got down to 1:03.529 with the controller and messed up plenty of .3xx runs. I either screw up the 1st turn or the last turn.

Don't know about anybody else, but the constant stutter and screen tearing soon gave me a headache. As much as I despise those problems they normally don't hurt my eyes, but within 30 mins it was becoming painful to look at the screen. Seemed worse than it usually does.
I agree on the those two turns being utter lap wreckers (in the GT academy sense).

I've been chipping away at my time so much I'm tempted to call it a sculpture, it's about 7 one hundredths behind you at 1:03.597 but there's more than 100 drivers within that gap.

I also have problems with it, I use sagaris95's replay (he's sitting on 16th right now), when I try to follow it before turn 3, I'm like 0.200 - 0.300 seconds behind him, and after that corner I'm almost a second behind (with the exception when I do go through the corner correctly, but I still can't figure out how do I do it)

The last turn is better taken by going wide as you exit. My real problem lies on both Paddock and Graham Hill, because I can't take those corners without having the back slide.

Sitting on a 1.03:648 currently I'm ahead slightly of gtp_ghostdriver at T1 (ever so slightly) but manage to lose 0.4 over the rest of the lap.

Still a lot of time on table, I think I lost a lot of time in last corner compared to my 1:03.222 time but as I was about a tenth ahead going into last sector so managed to keep enough speed to go top. My target was mainly to try and get to top spot once at least and managed to just about do it, not very often I see it so quite good feeling even though I didn't nail the lap. I doubt it will last long.

Exact same thing I wanted to do :)! Congrats Saidur!

Same. Top of my friends list is on a 1:03.4xx, I'm ahead of him until that freakin' turn then he just pulls away as if he had a boost button.

Thanks, I can relax now, just wanted to do it while it was in reasonable reach. Can only imagine trying it in a few days time with it maybe requiring close to perfect sectors to even come close to 1st position. I think .6XX first sector with good exit will be minimum to do a top time come end of this TT.

I'm now at 1:04.711 and I can knock 0,5s off, enter the highs 1:03's if I'm lucky... I guess I'm just a 🤬 driver... I hate both first and third corners...

Well done on 1st place Saidur, awesome time

Just because I like pointing it out... you guys know that the new GT6 Data Logger is utterly perfect for finding out where and how you're losing time, right?
I know where I'm losing time, but for the life of me I can't replicate what Holland does. The nanosecond I give input to the car at that corner the speed drops and the car starts 4 wheel sliding :(

Then start with someone midway between the two of you. Anyone on your friends list faster than you willing to share a replay? Would you want a copy of my button-bashing 1'04.1 or is it slower than you've already done?

I think replication has its limits when it comes to being fast, but it shouldn't harm to analyse faster driver's laps. I have little clue about what distinguishes top drivers from fast drivers. Because we always find the same at top, usually across games.
