AWESOME JOB BANDIT IN ROUND 1 AWESOME JOB ALL OF YOU IN THE TOP 250 THAT'S HUGE THAT CAR SUCKS AND IS SO TEMPERMENTAL......LOL
Can we try that without the all caps, please?

Anyway, I'm going to have to suck it up and go wheel. Apricot Hill is my test track and I know it very well, but the Comfort Softs trying to cope with 331hp means I'm only down to 1'37.2 with button bashing. G25 time...

I highly doubt we'll improve that much. Even in last year's main qualifier, with a new, longer track and a trickier car to drive, the #1 time only improved by 1.2 seconds from the end of day 1.
I reckon at most, we might see a few aliens get into the 1:33's, if any.
I think 1:33's will most definitely happen, I'm just not sure how low.

This is flipping retarded, I could pull off a 1:35 on SH maybe. But no, they put me on flipping CS!! At least it's better than the Leaf on CH.

Anyway, 1:36.784 is enough for now. I'll put some more laps in later this week.

Yes, sorry for all the caps lol, first time on here didn't know what to expect but yes it is annoying now that I look back at it. Any suggestions for that damn s-curve I'm either too far in and go off track or I'm too close in and hit the cones I have a bad habit of braking too late and accelerating way too hard which makes it hard coming outta corners Ian working on correcting that but when I see green or light blue numbers u get wreckless sometimes and most of the time it doesn't help lol yet sometimes it does with '600th's of second. So my question is this what's and averge speed coming into that s turn and is it better inside or outside?

Wow I screwed that up. Have been struggling to get under 1.40, was 3 seconds quicker than my best lap and some how spun it on the last bend...

I'm finding this very difficult, does anyone with gold have some constructive tips?

do some test laps - get your braking points - drive as smooth as you can - follow the darkest surface on track - gradually build up your speed.

weight transfer seems to be very important here, the less you unsettle the car the better. 👍

Also, my best lap is really poor in the first half and great in the second. All my laps since have been the opposite.

Huh considering I drive and race a 350 I feel I should be doing a lot better than 1:38.4. Good challenge none the less, I forgot how great apricot hill is.

judging by the first day times and watching replays, I would think someone is going to be flirting with 1:32's, might not get there, but close. 1:33.1xx would be my best guess.
Impossible for 1:33.1xx going by replay I watched.

I personally think it will be a struggle to get into 1:33's. Probably fastest will be a couple tenths or so around 1:34.5XX.

It'll be nice not having to wait sooooo long between restarts and crossing the finish line. I just stopped trying the last one as it was getting on my nerves.

I'm finding consistency difficult here. Getting the weight transfer wrong in the first few turns loses you a tonne of time. All the time I'm losing is in the first and last sectors.

1.36.700 (I was .43x up on that but hit the last cone out of the last chicane!:banghead:)

1:36.052 PSN: geordie139

Ran soooo many 36.1's.
Think a mid 35's about my limit, just need to put all the sectors together.

Thank you very much, I'll bear this in mind
