I'm not sure which is worse, the fact Ireland are playing against a player who got 10 goals in 3 games, or the fact that they're playing a team that set him up.:ouch:

Why can't we play Gibralter again?
Nothing to be worried about.

Long for Ballon D'or

Klopp did well yesterday in his press conference and other interviews he did, I know I'm a United fan but I'm really excited for Liverpool right now, they can definitely finish 4th this season with him getting the best of the young squad they have there..

Sunderland have appointed Sam Allardyce as their new manager on a two-year-deal, seem like a good move on their part.

David Silva and Sergio Aguero were both taken off injured for Spain and Argentina in the last two days, Aguero is out with a muscle tear for two-eight weeks, the Manchester Derby is on 25th October, which is two weeks tomorrow.

Yes sick as a dog here, (Dam internationals.:() Guess it already puts city on the back-foot.
Should be a fun derby day. lol Always is.

What about Rojo could be on his way? (Thought he,s quite good to be honest. My opinion.)

Klopp and Allerdyce both took training for the first time at Liverpool and Sunderland today.

Looks like Rooney will be fit for Everton at the weekend, which might actually be bad news considering how he has been playing lately!

Here are the games for this weekend then, now that the break is over..

Saturday
Chelsea v Aston Villa
Crystal Palace v West Ham
Everton v Man United
Man City v Bournemouth
Southampton v Leicester
Tottenham v Liverpool (12.45 BT)
Watford v Arsenal (5.30 Sky)
West Brom v Sunderland

Sunday
Newcastle v Norwich (4pm Sky)

Monday
Swansea v Stoke (8pm Sky)

Only one game on Sunday, it must be something to do with the Rugby World Cup which has its quarter finals over the weekend, a bit surprised that Everton-Man Utd isn't televised..

A: Why would they televise such a boring match
B: If it's at 3pm on a Saturday, I'm sure theres a law that says none of them can be broadcast to encourage people to go to the match.

A: It is not a boring game, Everton have actually been something of a boogie team for United over the years, how can you write off a match you haven't seen yet?? It could be a seven goal thriller for all we know
B: There is a law stopping teams showing the 3pm kick offs on Saturday, what I meant was the game could've been very easily switched to Sunday, making two TV on that day instead of one.

Brazilian club Santos wants the FIFA to suspend Neymar for 6 months after all the dubious details came out about his transfer to Barcelona.

Turns out that Barca paid nearly 100 million, and Santos only received 17.

Financial fair play. Uh-huh.

Barcelona are also trying to register a player outside the transfer window due to an injury to Rafinha. And by register a player I mean "register a player they 'signed' for €24 million in the summer but couldn't register due to their transfer ban for illegal payments and mispayments". They'll go to the European Arbitration Board if they don't get their way.

Uh... excuse me but isn't this what Barcelona B and Barcelona C are for? I know the Spanish rules on having reserves in the first team are different but surely they should be trying to use a player they actually already have rather than a player they weren't supposed to sign in the first place.

How bad is their injury crisis? Unless they can only name thirteen players for a matchday squad, they have more than enough depth.

I've always really liked Barcelona since Robson for their on the pitch play but their conduct off the pitch in recent years is really irritating me.

Danny Ings out for six months with a knee injury and joins Gomez, Firmino and Benteke on the side-lines for Liverpool who have Spurs on Saturday but they have some players missing as well.

Sam Allerdyce is struggling to get an assistant to join him at Sunderland, his former No2 at West Ham Neil McDonald is now manager at beleaguered Blackpool and couldn't be persuaded to join and Phil Brown also ruled himself out..

So its Mourinho v The FA once again, he got a £50,000 fine and a suspended one game stadium ban for his outburst at referee's after the Southampton defeat, the punishment does sound harsh but he has been in trouble with The FA many times before, he was at a book launch yesterday and he called the fine a disgrace and the suspension astonishing and he also said some people get no punishment for worse like pushing and shoving on the touchline, he was clearly referring to Wenger again after he gave Mourinho a shove last season for which he didn't get punished, Jose is appealing...

Barca is poking Fenerbahce to see if they can get van Persie in the next transfer window.

Balague is saying this could be Ronaldo's last season at Real Madrid and a move to PSG is on the cards....

Arsenal look like they are going to sign William Carvalho in January after both parties showing interest for each other also Riechedly Bazoer from Ajax are on the cards to move to the gunners.

It's starting to look like Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva and Aguero could be a very difficult front 4 to defend against.

City always score a billion goals a season tbf, it's just now that Fernandinho is playing awesome and Mangala isn't so terrible all the time they are pretty formidable.

Haven't seen the Spurs game, doesn't sound like it was too good to be honest, I'm just happy we didn't concede while we were missing Dier, Dembele supposedly stood up and made me even happier with Spurs midfield options this year.

Comfortable victory for United. We needed a response after Arsenal. Schneiderlin was a shield, and Herrera flourished at 10, looked extremely comfortable.

Both delighted and quite surprised with the result and performance yesterday, going to Goodison is never easy and would've taken a point but never expected a comfortable 3-0 win, all three goals were the result of some good play in the build up and its the perfect response to the disaster at the Emirates two weeks ago, hopefully this will be the start of a goal run for Rooney now!.

Decent start for Klopp but Mignolet will take a lot credit for that point!

Also, James McLean.....what a prat!

It's hard to believe that a team that went about 110 years without a sponsor have fallen to such scummy behaviour. :indiff:

Next Sunday should be interesting!
Couple of games I'm looking forward to next weekend. Obviously the Manchester and Tyne derby's. Chelsea and West Ham. Liverpool Southampton. Arsenal Everton.

All I can't say though is that weekends like that normally end badly for my Fantasy team.

MANAGER WATCH

Two more to catch up with over the weekend:

90 minutes from the Championship last year (losing in the final vs Preston), Swindon have had a poor start to this season and that's enough to cost the manager his job. And this very morning, Leeds have sacked their manager after just 12 games and a mediocre start to the season. Recently departed Rotherham manager Steve Evans is immediately appointed at Elland Road.

17th October - Mark Cooper (Swindon Town, sacked) League One
19th October - Uwe Rösler (Leeds United, sacked) Championship

Interesting how although it wasn't Redfearn whom Evans replaced, Leeds and Rotherham have effectively swapped managers with Rösler acting as a caretaker manager more than anything.

Sackings: 14
Resignations: 3
Expirations: 2
