2015 Grand Prix de Monaco - All Results in OP

Perhaps, but as Mclaren Honda have it was moot.

McLaren-Honda have never been beaten at Monaco. As @DK noted; technically nor have Manor-Ferrari. You pointed out the technicality was that they'd never raced there. I think that pretty much covers it.

Aaanyway, here's a snap from Coulthard (via the Beeb) of the top places at the end of FP3. Could shape up to be an interesting race! :D

Note that Raikkonen broke his car on his second super-soft run so we don't know how close he may have got to Vettel's time. Mercedes likely to have some time left to magically find, Ricciardo showing his FP1 time wasn't a fluke.

That's cause the track isn't super hot and the RBR can only make things happen on the twisty stuff. Reason to believe why TR will probably both finish in the top ten this weekend due to similar reasoning. It's been a growing trend with RBR even more so now with the new engine setup. The tight tracks are where things can happen and valid top five finishes are a reality.

Hamilton reported "something wrong with the car", team suggested tyre over-pressure, tyre management sounds like it could be crucial (once again) as other teams are reporting that they're not getting the tyres warmed up consistently at all.

Grosjean blocks Alonso on his hot lap. Still manages to put it into P9.

Both McLaren's are well into the Top 15.

Ah, see now, people may complain that the race is "boring" and too much of a parade...and while it may be guilty of that, I still see the excitement of them simply driving around the track. I still find it insane they race here. I find the drama of the races here a bit more exciting than the actual rare overtakes we get to see. Everything leading up to it is kind of part of the whole entertainment. Qualifying really feels like it means something here.

Perhaps I try too hard to find positives in this race. Besides Monza and COTA, Monaco is one of my favorite races of the year.

This is why I absolutely love how Sky Sports F1 cover every session. They do a great job of it too, and you do feel a part of the whole experience.

Great Qualy battle between the Torro Rosso's and Red Bull's. Should be interesting to see which team is better.

Alonso's engine stopped and went into Anti-Stall mode whilst in 6th gear.

Button in 12th with 2mins to go. Don't think he'll make it. :(

Nope. Button misses Q3 due to a Rosberg lock-up.

Grosjean, Button, Alonso, Massa and Hulkenburg out in Q2

Williams is shockingly bad here.

Reminds me of the late 2000s with Toyota, their car was always terrible at Monaco due to it being designed with high speed efficiency in mind.
