I ask this as if by some miracle I'm upgraded to a Platinum driver before the end of the season I might have to miss some races and I need to prioritize the right ones. The way I read it is Gold/Platinum may only take part in x events - the way I interpret events is that a qualifying session would be classified as an event even if the team didn't progress to the main race.

Qualifying could be more-or-less qualifying "for the event", which is the race as you score points for it. You don't get points if you don't qualify so I think that shouldn't count as you didn't get anything out of it.

Yea I can see the logic - but I don't think it has anything to do with if you get something from it more that before qualifying you would have been registered to take part in the event. You wouldn't know before registration if you were to qualify or not so its kind of like saying I'll take part but if I don't qualify I don't want my registration to count towards my events total. Don't know reckon we are going to need some clarification.

That figure doesn't include Daytona, but it'll only be an accurate figure if it's your first season in the GTPES. Although it is my first year, and I should have 4 races left if I miraculously go platinum, there should still be an easier way to determine how many races you have left if you're Gold or Platinum.

Need to find yourself a team that's looking for drivers - best to advertise yourself - explain a bit about your online racing experience, what your looking for etc.

In some events @AJ will look for drivers to fill an endurance experience team - not sure about the GT4 category though.
