#6 stopped at the top of the mountain.

Marshalls leading it to the escape road.

They could have started the race this morning, and then flown to Sydney and missed no test time at all. Or finished the race, after testing ended.
There are no guarantees that they would be able to make it. It would be quicker to drive than to fly, but even then, they would be pushing a tight time limit. One hiccup along the way, and they would miss the deadline.

I'm so glad the international viewers don't get see our ads... particularly the one for Bogan Hunters. I would be so ashamed otherwise.

Haha, awful, isn't it?

That Audi ad's cool though! I wonder how many people are watching it and going "wow, maybe I'll go pick up an R8 today"?

Too many safety cars... it's way too stop-start this race.

This race is like a dance, everybody trying to stay on the lead lap while preserving the drive time of their best driver, but in the end I think it's highly likely the #15 will win. They'll put Vanthoor in the car for the last few stints and that'll be that.

Just a side comment to that. Betty told me she was heading to Bathurst after the 9am-12pm session. Yesterday. defeats the purpose of trying to qualify the GT3 car, but it would have been close for the Class A flying lap session.

They're so keen for yellows that they're causing yellows while under safety car. Whatever happened at Skyline looks pretty nasty for a slow-speed incident.

What happened to the STIX McLaren? It was powering up the order earlier, but then it just disappeared.

How long do you want to give it before there's another safety car?

#10 Bentley back in the top six. :)

Vanthoor is in the 15. Interested to see how fast he is if the safety car ever goes away for long enough to get a rhythm.

That #15 R8 is flying. I don't think anyone has anything for him unless they have a problem. I wish the Bentleys could get back up front.

Wonder how the supertest is going ???

lol..................................

weak a water from Fox
What , Murdoch owns Fox ???

makes sense , calssic " murdochian " business practice.

Long way to go. I like how one of the Astons did 800km on one set of tyres.

Aww, Erebus....

Official Twitter says they recognize a problem with the international stream and are wrking on it.
