Im in friends,,,good luck
I like the full damage in this series but, arty's got a point. His practice races were a bit of a mess. Maybe Bathurst, Sierra, & Nurb type V should be light damage. Unless full damage is the twist that shakes things up. If that's the case then keep em full damage...just a thoughtIf @IMMORTALPILOT is in, I'm IN!
Agro, Aug, Chris, Evo, Immortal - in alphabetical order - WOOHOO! The best drivers in the world! This should be fun to watch and be a part of!
The fastest full fuel time is 31.4 so far, I am on 32.5 as my fastest but I average 34s... tyre management is going to be very interesting and the key to win... maybe UA and Nik have something up their sleeves
Agro, a quick suggestion, is it possible to have damage on LIGHT for this particular event? I've done a few short practice races and it is not pretty when someone spins in front of you in the tight section and you hit them and get damage through no fault of your own... or as you pointed out, turn 1 (deadly) and turn 2 (deadlier because of the engine killing barrier they have there)...
It's there a chance that you could go longer, or will 40min be the max?I have a birthday dinner to attend tonight, if i cant get home in time can we postpone by maybe 40 minuters IF everyone is ok with that. Sort of what we did for Makozi when he was at Le Mans

The thing that sucks it's that usually the drivers that cause the most damage to other drivers, are drivers that either quit the race our finish last anyways.I'll leave damage on full because when its on light its not really of any consequence for people.
@RacingLine I'll wait I suppose if people are willing to wait. I would hate for you to miss the race.
Cool. I'm good for a delay thenI doubt it im here now, we're chatting and dinner is served soon so a delay of 40 min is enough for sure.
Hm, well if turning damage to light, will help people stay, then I might do that. The thing that sucks it's that usually the drivers that cause the most damage to other drivers, are drivers that either quit the race our finish last anyways.

The leaving part isn't so much an issue as is how do we detour those drivers into being more cautiousHm, well if turning damage to light, will help people stay, then I might do that.
I see there ar new drivers in this competition.. and they are pretty fast...
I will suffer in this race. My record is a 32.6 but I obliterate the tyres. Is it normal that medium tyres last shorter than soft tyres? My soft last 6 laps whereas the medium ones last 5 laps. Probably I'll do a 33 in Q and 34 to 37s during the race (if I don't have any accident).
Any advices to go faster and to lengthen the life of tyres?
The mediums will be sliding much more. So thats where the extra wear comes in. Sorry but I don't really have much advice since you're on a pad. I've never used a controller. Only advice I got is to use maximum downforce and try to be smooth on throttle and with the steering.I see there ar new drivers in this competition.. and they are pretty fast...

For me on ds3, over steering scrubbed my fronts & no abs hurt my rears. I don't think it's possible to get the same tire wear as with a wheel. At Sierra in the lotus I gained 1½ laps of tire wear when I got my wheelThe mediums will be sliding much more. So thats where the extra wear comes in. You got a few points.Personally I think it is better to have Light here for everyone, not least the front runners because it is incredibly hard to pass a car in the twisty section even if a backmarker trying to give space...
I think we got pretty good numbers, there are plenty of others interested in joining (we race with them regularly in the Lotus F1 rooms) but I think retention comes down to having a competitive field all the way through... so long as everyone feels like they're involved in a race, they'll stay...
To that end, I like the idea of the leading drivers sharing their setups so the lower end of the field can try them out... we did it in the old series and it worked well...
I might
Don't crash into him though Arty
Well it's a good thing it's not raining.Nahhh, I'll leave that to our very own Marcus Ericsson - did you see him at Brands Hatch!!!
They might learn something from usNahhh, I'll leave that to our very own Marcus Ericsson - did you see him at Brands Hatch!!!
Practice room is open
Well glad you did end up making it. Next week you'll be just that much betterI cant make it today either Just got home.
I WILL try my absolute best to be there next week.
I had the most awfull race today, my setup was a last minute one, and was easily costing me 1.5 sec per lap, then I was on the wrong tyre most of the time wich cost me a massive ammount of time, and to top it off I missed the pit, reversed back, only to get ****ed by the game wich insisted at fueling up to the max, and when I had a spin into the pit, it just drove me straight through, no new tyres.
Its hard to tell, but all in all I lost well above 2 minutes due to just ******** happening. not sure I would have beaten hopefully I'll be more sorted out for the next race.
Oh, and @peiratis1976 , I'm very sorry for the bump, I went wide on the grass and could'nt get the car to stop.
