Saw something about Honda considering switching to rear wheel drive next year. Seems unlikely to me but has anyone heard anything about that?

Not sure what exactly each car will run but it's getting a bit silly now. It's turning more car focused like F1, rather then having an open grid. It's going to be a messy few years probably :(

It eventually gets that way with each new set of regulations. For a while you get a wide and varied grid and several seasons of good close racing. Sooner or later someone happens upon a combination of rule interpretations that gives them an advantage over their competitors and everyone else has to follow suit or risks being uncompetitive. First the smaller teams don't have the funds to keep up with development and drop out, then some manufacturers or those with manufacturer support find their vehicle for whatever reason doesn't suit where development need to go and they drop out. Before you know it, you've got tiny grids once again with a couple of teams totally dominating. Perhaps the NGTC-generation of BTCC has already had it's golden years?

More than likely, although where next for the series?

The amount of scare-mongering on this thread about RWDs winning at a RWD-favoured track is too damn high. Snetterton will be a much better test.

I remember the MG's and VW being pretty quick there in the past, so I wont rule out Jackson bouncing back for a win.

Been going a couple months that. Pro still have both Q50's as they were ready to race and started the application process a couple months back I hear. Also Palmer has the 99 Aiello Primera ST, wouldn't be surprised if that gets sold as a £££ raiser.

Also I don't know about you, but the initiative for the Para's is fantastic, it's the management that is appalling.

Time to get in touch with an old friend that works as part of the team I think!

Snetterton's hairpin being renamed to honor Justin Wilson starting with this weekend's BTCC event. Sunday would have been Wilson's 38th birthday.

And now there's a BMW has pulled off before the restart.

It seems like begging for donations is valid strategy for funding a race team now. Really looks bad on BTCC.

I think it looks really bad on the teams and their sponsors as they aren't thinking things through proper when sorting their budgets and also it's making the sponsors look as if they are tight.

One of the reasons wix left RAR.

Holy crap. The Cruze knocked over scaffolding with a cameraman ontop. Hopefully everybody is ok.

Unsurprisingly it was caused by the losers at the back of grid, Mark Howard was involved.
