So it suddenly dawned on me that this is final Le Mans 24 Hour for the Reynard/DBA/Creation/Zytek/Gibson LMP2 car. What a incredibly varied 15 years for that design, especially when you consider the many winning cars it competed against from the 675 and LMP2 eras.

Looking forward to another Le Mans with you guys and girls, hopefully this time I'll be able to watch all 24 hours (for the first time) and not fall asleep :cheers:

Appears to be a 6 car assault for Aston Martin now!

That's just naughty, driving while texting. That's at least a 10 spot penalty.

Is this how Aston Martin meets the BOP weight reduction it received?

I'm not sure how those wheels would handle the kerbs!

That is a 5min Stop-Go Penalty.

Yeah a few shares today, half the company tomorrow. At least it isn't as bad as Jaguar, talk about the Colony getting the last laugh.

Look, they invaded us and didn't leave till 1947. Now, we take great pleasure in some good natured capitalism :P

On topic:

I am beyond excited for the greatest race in the world.

Predictions:

LMP1: Toyota
LMP2: KCMG
GTE-Pro: Corvette Racing
GTE-Am: AF Corse

With that being said, a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the 1955 disaster.

I hope the prototypes get into some exciting racing. Not Allan McNish 2011 exciting, just proper racing.

I'm going to try and stay awake for the entire race. Hope I can, because I can hardly contain my hype.

Yes, finally. The WEC app has an update. It still didn't recognise my Le Mans 2016 purchase though. :banghead: Then I deleted the app and downloaded it again. Now it recognises my purchase. :gtpflag: 24 hours race here I come.

If anyone doesn't have access to the race but can get Quest TV then they will be showing the start and the end and something in between.

I can't really predict who'd win the race outright. It's close between Audi and Porsche but either way VW bosses aren't going to care about that.

As for GT Pro, I want Ford to do well. It's such an awesome sight to see 4 GT's racing there with the 66-69 numbers. I'd be ecstatic if Ford won the class but I reckon the Corvette's will put up quite a fight after their win last year.

Isn't there supposed to be a stream of free practice? I just purchased access through WEC because of free practice and qualifying, but the video feed doesn't show up. I can watch the main race on television, so did I just waste my money?

No TV for this 4hr practice, radiolemans.com is live though.
