Just my two pence on the Divisional Round games:

New England over Houston || I think Houston had the benefit of a weakened Miami team in the Wild Card.

Kansas City over Pittsburgh || If Ben's ankle is 100% then this could sway my opinion towards a Pittsburgh victory.

Dallas over Green Bay || Will be a close one but I think if Dallas can start fast, they can keep Green Bay at, um, bay.

Atlanta over Seattle || Will be an even closer one and probably high-scoring.

My opinions. :)

Dean Spanos is a complete and utter ****! :banghead: 🤬 I'm glad the fans are burning their Chargers gear, this is absolutely ridiculous, the ownership and organization is absolute garbage.

I guess this is what happens when you embarass yourself by losing to the Browns

Friend has been sending me pics of the tweets. This is hilarious. xD

Shoot. If it were up to me, I'd keep the old logo and try not to... okay, maybe I'll have that LA bolt thing as an alternate logo, but not the permanent one. I'd even rather the Chargers go back to the vintage Powder Blue and white with the bolts, much like the Rams should go back to the vintage blue and gold colors (though I do love their modern colors). I'm crying "fail!" on the new logo. Wow...

[OMISSION] Congratulations to Sean McVay on becoming the youngest head coach in NFL history at the age of 30. So he is as old as some GTPlaneteers here. McVay will coach the Los Angeles Rams.

Chargers just went full retard. If they have some dignity, they'll change the logo at some point in the summer or revert to one of the previous ones... or make a full rebrand, including a new name... that new logo is a disaster.

The Chargers are dead. RIP.

I don't think the new logo is the primary. I think it'll be used to social media and that's all.

The Stars' burn was great by itself, the Tampa one was OK but the response by the Dodgers makes it great. I got a chuckle out of them.

I 'almost' bought tickets to the KC/Pitt game but the thought of driving home 450 miles in various forms of freezing rain, snow, and ice was just too much.

Predictions
Sea 27
Atl 34

Hou 13
NE 34
If Clowney does nothing else in his career please give #tommy the beating his cheating ass deserves.:D

Pitt 24
KC 13

GB 17
Dal 21

SEA@ATL:
Atlanta is rested up and has one of the top offenses in the game with possible MVP Matt Ryan, Julio "The Horse" Jones and two great running backs. Their defense is iffy but bend don't break should get them to a win.
Seattle is all kinds of beat up, especially on the O-line, and Russel Wilson looks like he's playing hurt. They are missing their best defensive player in Earl Thomas and the Lions made their secondary look vulnerable last weekend.

SEA - 22
ATL - 31
---------------------------------------
HOU@NE:
I agree with the above, @IforceV8, as my hate for Brady is strong. This is a bye-week for New England and only one of the following two teams can stop Belichick from going to his 7th Super Bowl with the Patriots.

HOU - 6
NE - 28
----------------------------------------
PIT@KC:
Pittsburgh won big in KC earlier in the season although the Chiefs hadn't really found their stride until later on. Big Ben looks banged up but the Steelers' passing offense seemed unstoppable early last week before hitting a wall in the 2nd half. The Le'Veon Bell (Cow) looks like the best running back in the league by a mile.
Kansas City has been one of the best teams in the league, record wise, over the past two seasons and had an impressive game against the Patriots last post season. If they can get the edge in turnovers and a defensive touchdown, I think they win this one.

PIT - 17
KC - 21
----------------------------------------
GB@DAL:
And finally, the only thing I hate more than Brady; the Cowboys. Aaron Rodgers lit up one of the top 3 secondaries in the league last week after a dismal showing by the Giants' offense. Look for Rodgers to have at least another 400 yards and 4 TDs passing this week with ease. He is by far the best QB in the league even though he will be without Jordy Nelson.
Dallas' O-line has carried them this far but even if they keep the Packers off the field, their rookie QB will have to be the one who wins the game for them. Green Bay will keep 8 in the box and force Prescott to throw. This one will be the highest scoring game and I pick Green Bay to win the shootout and move on.

GB - 45
DAL - 38

Only unforeseen circumstances will my Houston Texans defeat the New England Patriots. I would be surprised if the margin of victory is 14 or less, and more so if we actually pull out a win. You just DON'T win at the Patriots and especially in the Playoffs and in prime time no less. Texans are basically playing on house money even with a solid defense, and even that defense often has trouble against premier QBs like Tom Brady. Basically, this is our AFC Championship. We're not coming back to Houston to meet the winner of the NFC; we'll be coming back to clean out our lockers and get ready for the 2017 NFL Draft... oh, and to watch Super Bowl LI. But again- I want my Texans to win. I just don't see any hope of us beating the Patriots.

By the way... have you heard there is an online petition by a Packers fan to get out Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to call the Green Bay at Dallas game? I think I heard over 25K names signed or something like that. This was because the petition maker was talking about how the Buck/Aikman tandem provide negative views and certain bias. Crazy.

Random NFL News/factoids:

- According to sources reporting to Ian Rapoport, the Raiders will file papers to relocate the team to Las Vegas. The move will require an approval of the owners, however.

- It is worth noting that the last game that the Atlanta Falcons played at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium back in 1991 was against the Seattle Seahawks. Today, history could repeat as the Falcons take on the Seattle Seahawks in their final game at the Georgia Dome. If the Packers win on Sunday, then they will obviously get another home game, but if the Falcons lose or if Dallas wins, then that will be the final game at the Georgia Dome and history will repeat itself as the following game in the 1991 season for the Falcons was at Texas Stadium.

- The LA Chargers again changed their logo in as many days. Here is their logo now as it compares to the other two:

- Finally, we have word that the Chargers' temp stadium is actually smaller than three of Texas' High School Football championship games. Here is the list for those confused:

Eight teams remain. Four seasons will continue; four others will end. Good luck to all teams this weekend.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons is GO! Dirty Birds against... I guess Seattle's the "clean" birds.

Houston didn't play Miami in the Wild Card round.

Yeah, BKGlover. The Texans have put on a surprising effort, but that one pass where Tom Brady basically called his shot and delivered on a 48-yard pass play is inexcusable. I don't care what team you are- you DON'T want to get clowned on like that. We can take this one. Only question is... can the Texans play like they can confidently beat a juggernaut like New England? They need to play the second half like they did in the first half, only better and harder.

This is going to end up like the Giants/Packers game last week. Houston kept it close in the first half, but will be thoroughly manhandled as the Pats will cakewalk in the 2nd half.

If Edleman could remember how to actually catch the ball, it'd probably be 42-9 NE. He's looking like Vernon Davis did with the Broncos.

Beginning of the end. If we're going out, we go out fighting. Texans could have played much better and executed better. I realize it isn't over officially as of this post, but it's doggone near over for the Texans. They'll be WATCHING Super Bowl LI rather than potentially PLAY Super Bowl LI. Sad.

[UPDATE] Texans' 2016 season over. 34-16 win for the New England Patriots. At least the defense did its part. Terrible that the offense couldn't get enough of a lift to stand a viable chance. They basically didn't bring their nice first half into the second half. Patriots are an elite team for a reason. Even I knew the Texans/Raiders winners were going to be in dire straights playing against New England in the next round.

Texans done. Congrats to whomever wins the championship. Too damn bad it won't be my Texans.

Glad I didn't watch the second game then. I did enjoy seeing the Falcons stomp on the Seahawks since they in turn stomped on my Lions.
