BMW may want to consider getting someone other than RLL to run the IMSA factory effort at this point.

The M6 just isn't suited for GTE, BMW has also come to this conclusion and is going to have a proper GTE car next year.

The proper GTE won't help them when the team that is responsible for the current car takes themselves out of the few chances they get to win with poor strategy and management. Like earlier when the 24 (laps down, but still) went in after a tire puncture and the team forgot to have a tire ready to replace it in the pits.
 
IMSA logic dictates that dumping a car at the final turn is A OK.

or not, only AXR cars can do that I guess.

Except the 31 screwed itself in the process and went laps down, something that didn't happen with the 75.
