I wonder what the over/under is on how many times they mention how cold it is outside and how happy they are that it's a indoor stadium?

It's currently -1F right now and probably won't get much warmer.

Will you guys go crazy if the Eagles win even though Wentz isn't playing?

We don't get to enjoy the commercials here :indiff: Might survive till the half time show, the game is on pretty late.
I've taken tomorrow off work so I can stay up and watch.

Absolutely. :D

Honestly, I've never really had a team. Being from Georgia, I watched Falcons games here and there but that never really stuck.

At my first job, everyone was a Vikings fan so I defaulted to the Packers. Fortunately that was in the Favre years so there was plenty of opportunities to rub it in.

Now that Wentz is with the Eagles, there are a lot of new fans from ND, and I'm sure if he gets traded, we'll start following him wherever he ends up.

All ready for kickoff. Just need some snackage.

I really don't care which team wins, but my boss (whom I don't get along with) is a Patriots fan and it wouldn't shock me if I have to worry about my job if they lose (wish I was kidding).

That was a fantastic first half.

Keep it going, Eagles!

I wouldn't be in the loop of the current game if work didn't dispatch me here.

As much as I have no interest in the sport, it is nice to hear people cheer on good plays in a big restaurant.

Cris Collinsworth is way too in love with Brady to be an impartial commentator. There's no way the Ertz touchdown wasn't a touchdown.

Edit: Maybe the sack turnover will shut them up now.

You should've heard my stepdad going on about him.

FLY EAGLES FLY

UPDATE: Called Nick Foles winning Super Bowl 52 MVP.

Great game. All of the calls were correct. Philadelphia learned from Atlanta's mistakes from last year and kept the hammer down.

I am curious how many steps a receiver needs to take nowadays to become a runner? Ertz took no fewer than 3 steps with the ball securely in his possession. It wasn't until he dove for the endzone that the ball came out. Ground caused the fumble, but he had already crossed the plane.

I really hope they revisit and either clearly define the catch rule or just make it like every other play and if the ball crosses the plane of the goal line, it's a touchdown.

I didn't get to see the game but hell yes! Anyone but New England.

And Nick Foles, Superbowl MVP. What a great story.

Yeah that's got to change. The ball crosses the goal line it's a touchdown.

I was bit cheeky at school today and watched a few minutes of the game in the library:lol: Some sensational plays by the Eagles, which I tipped to win - much to the disagreement of my friend. He said that there was no chance for the Eagles today. How wrong he was. I love an underdog story, quite literally - my favourite Australian footy team is the Western Bulldogs, who won a premiership for the first time since 1954 in 2016. They were not tipped to be premiership contenders that year. Enough of that though; the Eagles were nothing short of brilliant. They deserved that win today.

The Eagles trick play on fourth down for a TD early in the game was great. The Eagles fourth down at the wrong 45 yard line to keep the game alive was nerve wracking. I really think they lose the game right there if they don't catch that ball. Running 3 times straight to rest your chances on a field goal was not as gutsy as the rest. It turned out to be a decent move, but maybe only because the patriots tried an uncharacteristically desperate lateral on the return that really shouldn't have been tried.

That was a very close game. Closer than it looked in the end.

Well, if you don't run 3 times and make an incomplete pass, Brady has 40 seconds/1 timeout more to tie the game.
IMO it was the best they could do.
