Haven't watched it yet, but the Bengals finally etched out their first win of the season. It was against the Browns, so I don't really know how to interpret that...They may still suck royally. Guess we'll find out next week.

Lions got a division win with defense leading the way to a 14-7 road win against Minnesota. Big note is that the Vikes lost Dalvin Cook with a Torn ACL. I hope he recovers well.

Panthers managed to pull it together to somehow beat the Patriots in Foxborough. Still don't have a lot of confidence, their offense particularly has been fairly average through the first three games. Think the Lions next week should be a good test for them.

Redskins at Chiefs TONIGHT!

It's a matchup among two NFC teams tonight. This game eminating from Kansas City. Kansas City, Missouri, that is. The Show-Me State is ready to show the Washington Redskins (2-1) match up against the 3-0 Kansas City Chiefs. So who's going to win this one> We'll find out later tonight at Arrowhead Stadium!

FAVORED: KC by 7
OVER/UNDER: 49.5 pts.

Enjoy tonight's game if you'll be watching!

Four weeks down. How are your favorite teams doing so far? Here is an early look at the standings after Week 4 wrapped up...

--- AFC ---
AFC EAST: Buffalo (3-1), NYJ and NE (3-2 each), MIA (1-2)
AFC WEST: Kansas City (4-0), DEN (3-1), OAK (2-2), LAC (0-4)
AFC NORTH: Pittsburgh (3-1), BAL (2-2), CIN (1-3), CLE (0-4)
AFC SOUTH: Jacksonville, Houston, and Tennessee (2-2 each), IND (1-3)

--- NFC ---
NFC EAST: Philadelphia (3-1), DAL and WAS (2-2 each), NYG (0-4)
NFC WEST: Los Angeles Rams (3-1), SEA and ARI (2-2 each), SF (0-4)
NFC NORTH: Detroit and Green Bay (3-1 each), MIN (2-2), CHI (1-3)
NFC SOUTH: Atlanta and Carolina (3-1 each), TB (2-1), NO (2-2)

It's the first quarter of the season. Still plenty of time to iron out kinks and prove to be contenders. Every team still has a chance to make the Playoffs until teams become officially eliminated from playoff contention. So keep at it!

Here are the more interesting matches coming up for Week 5:

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: New England (3-2) at Tampa Bay (2-1)
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: Kansas City (4-0) at Houston Texans (2-2)
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: Minnesota (2-2) at Chicago (1-3)

BYE WEEK TEAMS: Atlanta, Denver, Washington, New Orleans

Just getting started with the season! Good luck to all of your favorite teams moving forward.

Tonight begins a new week of NFL football, as the New England Patriots will pay a visit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This should be a pretty good game. Enjoy this game if you'll be watching.

Depressing loss. Starting tight end and wide receiver out now. Bills had a chance but offense just couldn't get it done. Tyrod Taylor decided to sit in the pocket for almost every pass...no idea why. Defense still pretty stout, holding another team to 20 or less. With Lesean McCoy not getting big plays, I don't see how this offense will function going forward. God knows when Charles Clay'll be back, and hopefully Matthews is ready after the bye, but that's not likely.

Bills yet to win a game when they don't score 20 or more.

Still top of the division, but a lot of work left to do.

Defensive Player of the Game: AJ Green; 2 INTs, 1 Fumble.

Lions lost today. Shocked it was close though because the offense sucked for a vast majority of the game and that's ignoring Stafford limping around the field.

I'm not surprised it was so close at the end. Panthers have no idea how to play with a lead. The cardiac cats are still alive and kicking.

More injuries to big names this week.

Packers won I guess, didn't give me a heart attack this time though.

Yeah, that was weird today. AJ Green made a couple of his usual AJ Green plays, but he had those two perplexing plays where the balls bounced right out of his hands and right into the defenders'. Very unlike AJ Green for that to happen, much less twice in the same game.

I'm just happy the Bengals didn't bungle it up and got the win. Going into the bye week with a 2-3 record looks much better than 1-4. Especially nice considering their next opponent after the break is Shi...err...Pittsburgh. :D And only a game behind them after another unexpected loss! :dopey:

The Texans are essentially my second team; I lived in Houston for 6 years (around when the team actually formed) so I do root for them. Considering what JJ Watt has done for the city and the surrounding areas off the field (not even including his talent and ability on the field) I admit I felt crushed when I saw him go down.

Hope he recovers and finally gets fully healthy, I'm proud I donated to his relief efforts for the city and I love seeing him play.

Pittsburgh got bent over today by Jacksonville. I loved it. Whodey hopefully!

Depressing night for Texans fans, as we failed 42-34 on national TV. Nothing new if you're a Houston sports fan. The loss of Mercilus (chest) and J.J. Watt (knee) deflated the Texans. Kansas City made a killing on third down conversions. KC even ran back a punt for a touchdown. A late touchdown drive along with a 2-point conversion proved inconsequential. So we go to 2-3 on the season. The final stop of this home stand for the Texans is us hosting the Cleveland Browns next Sunday afternoon.

Congratulations to all other winners from this week's games. Sad my boys couldn't be among the winners this week.

Before I hype tonight's Monday Night Football game... I wish J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus well in their respective recoveries. Both out for the season. We may well miss the playoffs unless the rest of the defense steps up. Also and elsewhere, best recovery wishes to Odell Beckham Jr. after his injury. Meanwhile...

Vikings at Bears TONIGHT!

Love you some Midwestern NFL action? Well, you're going to get it with these two NFC North foes colliding tonight. It's the Vikings paying a visit to Chi-Town to meet the Bears. Minnesota is 2-2 while Chicago is 1-3. Both teams are in the bottom half in the NFC North standings. Can the Bears take down the Vikes?

FAVORED: MIN by 3
OVER/UNDER: 40.5 pts

Enjoy tonight's action if you'll be watching.

It was nice to finally be able to watch Wentz this year. Home town boy had a heck of a game yesterday!

Nothing wrong with a four and one record to lead the NFC East.

And the Pack beating the 'Boys was just a bonus. :D

I need Wentz to keep doing well. I drafted him on a whim in my fantasy league and so far I've been pretty happy, especially since I have Agholor too.

===

The Lions played decent yesterday but I think the offense has been figured out by most teams now. The Lion's playbook is super small and they really only run a handful of plays. If this trend continues I expect Cooter to be gone by Week 8.

Speaking of the Lions, should they dump Ebron? I'm torn because while we do need a TE, he either is somewhat decent or absolutely terrible with no in between.

Yes, Fells is better, but I don't think they could get anything for Ebron. I'm not sure how much more he has on his contract, but I wouldn't resign him.

This is Week 6 of the 2017 NFL season. Here are the more interesting matches this week:

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 6: PHI Eagles at CAR Panthers
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 6: NYG GIants at DEN Broncos (NYG is 0-5 so far)
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL WK. 6: IND Colts at TEN Titans

Enjoy this upcoming week of action!

NY Giants schedule after starting 0-5:
@ Denver (L)
Seattle (L)
BYE
LA Rams (Maybe the 1st win?)
@ San Fran (W)
Kansas City (L)
@ Washington (L)
@ Oakland (L)
Dallas (W)
Philly (L)
@Arizona (L)
Washington (W)

4-12 at best unless they do the smart thing and tank the rest of the season. Hopefully they beat the Jets, 49ers and Browns to the 1st overall pick next year. Then we can either take Eli's replacement at QB or trade the pick for multiple picks to get rid of this dead wood O-line.

They also need to trade OBJ in the offseason and just get it over with. He's not worth the headache and definitely not worth making him the highest paid player in the league which he is reported to want. There are plenty of other teams and markets where he can pull his stunts and be overpaid for it.

Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension has been restored. What now for the Dallas Cowboys and for Mr. E. Elliott?

They'll be alright. You can take a guy off the street and he would get 100 yards rushing each game behind that offensive line.

I doubt it will stand, but seeing the Jets up 14-0 over the Pats is amazing.

Oh and anyone not watching the GB v. Vikings game looks like Rodgers took a nasty hit and is probably out for the game.

This is a fumble apparently. In other news, the refs and head officiating crew out of NY are getting their Patriot kickback checks.

Why have cupcakes when you can have brownies? Well, my Houston Texans hosted the Cleveland Browns in this final game of this three-game home stand. We won 33-17. To use college speak, the big man on campus was Johnathan Joseph picking off the Browns twice, including a pick-six. Deshaun Watson now is the first rookie QB to throw three touchdown passes in three straight games. The Texans did very well on defense even without Whitney Mercilus and J.J. Watt. I thought the Texans would have to have J. Clowney try to carry the team on defense, a la the NBA's LeBron James. Still, Texans improve to 3-3. The Brownies will host the Tennessee Titans next week.

Up next for the Houston Texans... we're off next week but will be at the Seattle Seahawks on October 29th.

Elsewhere... spare thoughts for Aaron Rodgers, who suffered a collarbone injury. That surely will hurt the Green Bay Packers.

Congratulations to all of this week's winners.
