Caruso's car is a huge step down from the calsonic livery.
They may as well run a SuperUte. Jayco sponsorship, Campers, TruckSales, MotorcycleSales, etc...

Caruso forgot to mention the success his current team has. Two wins(including his 2nd Place) and a podium at Bathurst.

I do like Caruso's livery. Obviously not as good as the Calsonic car, but still. Was hoping and sort of expecting them to do a 1992 based livery tbh.

The 2000 Bathurst is on now, my god there's some nice looking cars out there. This is such a great era of racing.

Edit; and Barry Sheene is the pit reporter. I've missed that voice.

Its all about the wheels, man. ;)

Looking at them now, the AU is pretty slick looking. And that gravel trap was the worse. Glad it's paved.

The AU was pretty ugly back then but it looks beautiful now. The djr AU's and the FTR AU are a damn fine looking car.

Dougal McDougal is trundling around too. Geeze his parents were mean.

Hahaha I was thinking that myself. With Rusty going there's a spot for him. The '01 race is on now, more beautiful cars out there. Even the green eyed monster is out there.

They need new wheels. The current ones are super boring.
Yesssssss. I think Team Dynamic still have the contract. I want BBS or OZ to be brought in. Especially with the new ZB on the grid. The current wheels don't suit it.
A one-piece BBS like the GT3 cars would be fine. Though I'd prefer a 3-piece BBS.

Boost Mobile backing Percat's ride for Bathurst.

Is it weird that two cars from two different teams look almost exactly the same?

Also, PRA will be revealing a '77 Moffat tribute livery for Winterbottom on Wednesday.

Bob Holden won in 1966 with #13 & Bob Morris won 10 years later with #7.
I don't think the number has anything to do with it.

However, I do find it a bit funny that Holden won driving a Morris & Morris won driving a Holden
Dunno, the #7 had misfortune at Sandown and Lebrocq was driving.
Also, in the hands of Buncombe. Plus, Todd love OKs at the car and it going sideways or stops or leaks.

Now that they've added what looks like a great track to the calendar, use the bloody thing instead of some short ass layout that has the cars whizzing past the crowd every 60 seconds.
I've got mixed feelings about this event. While it's great to get another round in my home state, the super sprint format and the likelihood of few passing opportunities is a bit ''meh''

We'll see. The tyre is a major factor. What does the series et next year? Who struggles? Who shines? Will the ZB(b)e good at certain tracks, with its shorter chassis?

That triple corner, reminds me of COTA, but it almost seems like Hidden Valley.

That video is wildly inaccurate.

Dale Wood is in the top ten.

Even if they use the whole thing, they'll still ruin it with some stupid "Sprint Format".

From the article...
Construction of the South Australian Government-backed project is nearing completion with its first event set for late January, and Supercars’ maiden visit using the SuperSprint format on August 24-26.
Supercars will tackle the 4.9km International Circuit, which boasts 18 turns and an aggregate elevation change of 55m, built to the FIA's Grade 2 safety certification.

The super sprint format on that circuit is what bothers me, I think it would be far better suited to longer races, unless the new softs wear like 🤬, then it might be okay.

Hopefully. That's my main issue with the short sprint races. More often than not it just becomes follow the leader with very little racing. Maybe if/when Sandown gets sold off to housing developers, Tailem Bend will take over as the pre-Bathurst endurance race or something.

Unless they've snuck one past me, I'm almost certain the ZB will have the same chassis as every other Supercar.
Same wheelbase, same tracks F&R etc....

Dutton remarked the ZB is shorter, hence the large rear wing to reach the required rule book length. I believe the S60 was shorter as well.

Bodywork maybe but it's still the same chassis underneath.

The cars haven't been their original lengths for well over 10 years.
Project Blueprint saw to that.

It's a start(again). Just name the races by time. Other than Bathurst, all races are time certain. "SuperNiteNite 3 hour". Done.
