Walkinshaw are keeping the retro livery on Pye's car for NZ.

May as well keep it for Newcastle too.

Yeah that's a great looking car, no need to change it.

If only we still had the 5 spoke wheels it would be perfect.

F1 are about to discuss a front axle Kers system. Think Supercars would have such a discussion, in the near future? Would Supercars be keen to introduce AWD?

Remind me never to get on your bad side. :nervous: 👍

I figured he wasn't using his eyes when he barged into Craig Lowndes in that final race of 2006 so, he wouldn't miss them.

Soooo many pins later & he still doesn't need a cane or seeing-eye dog. Can't work out why

Another quick look at the circuit. Signage going up and the stands at Turn 1 are nearly done. Lots to do in pit lane.

From, first pic "Heroes Corner" Horseshoe Beach hairpin; 2. Run to the final turn; 3. Final turn on right entering Wharf Road; 4. Pit straight; 5. Watt Street; 6 &7. The bottom of Shortland Esplanade/Zarra Street to Scott Street.
They're still working on Turn 8 at end of Scott St/Nobby's Road. Appears everything should be done pretty soon.

After the Group A farce, I doubt it.

Nice to see Perkins back in the main game for a couple of rounds. Shame he has to drive an LDM car though.
Does he get the call for the enduros though? WAU could replace him with an Andretti driver or someone else.

There was some mention of WAU possibly fielding a wildcard entry for Bathurst. Hopefully Luff and Perkins are retained for the #2 & #22. I thought they did both did an excellent job this year.

That's right. If they do a wildcard, might be best for Jordan Taylor to try for that seat. I doubt RBHRT will have a spot to "experiment" with Taylor, in a potential Championship winning car. We'll see. Maybe he surprises like Stanaway and Ekstrom.
