Wayback Wednesday to when some team actually turned a GT4 V8 Vantage into an R-GT car for Rally Sweden
So cool, if it werent' for the guy I'd think it was an expensive diecast from the first couple slides.

There might be a missed joke somewhere in my earlier post.It is when Mikkelsen is in a WRC2 car. The Citroens are well off the pace but I guess we won't know until Friday or even Saturday if they're sandbagging.

There's usually a half-hour magazine-format show that is put together at the end of each day, and a one-hour recap that is broadcast sometime after the event. The final stage is also broadcast live (and sometimes two stages are broadcast live, depending on the itinerary). You'll need to check your TV guide to find out which station is broadcasting it.What's the best way to watch WRC? I know they have their own thing but you need a subscription and their YouTube channel's recap videos are only 3 minutes long.
Shakedown is the equivalent of an installation lap in Formula One. It's a systems check to make sure everything is operating as it should be. Sandbagging gets you nothing because nobody in the service park pays attention to the times. Citroën have already said that they ran slicks to preserve the studs. The Citroens are well off the pace but I guess we won't know until Friday or even Saturday if they're sandbagging.
Swap the first two around & we can agree. The Fiesta is the best-looking car, followed very closely by the Hyundai. The Yaris looks good from the front, but the rear wing is horrible. Really not a fan of the C3, though. It just looks too big and lacking in imagination.
After seeing videos of the cars on course, I think the Toyota looks the best. Is it the prettiest? No, but in not here to see a beauty pageant. I'm a form follows function guy, and when I look at the Toyota, I see pure function - and it makes me smile. For me, all the other cars look too tame, not different enough than the previous cars. The Fiesta is the best-looking car, followed very closely by the Hyundai. As much as I'd love to see GT cars have a shot at major rallying again, these hatches look insane, I love the Hyundai and Ford. Can't wait for the action to start.Only a few hours before the start of the first stage of the 2017 wrc season, all the cars are ready to tackle the stages :

So the first stages start tonight? On the RedBull app, it says Live in 26hrs....is that countdown timer until RB starts streaming coverage, as opposed to the start of the race?
And why wouldn't RB cover the first night stages?
