3 players finally hit the $50,000 NBC Sports Predictor contest this past weekend. They correctly picked the scores of all 5 of the games selected for the weekend and Monday for perfect scores of 50pts. I had 2 correct picks for Liverpool vs. Tottenham & Arsenal vs. Newcastle and I had 28 total points for my best result since I started playing. But no money :(

“Kean knows that when he scores a goal, he has to focus on celebrating with his teammates. He knows he could’ve done something differently too," Bonucci told Sky Sports Italia .

“There were racist jeers after the goal, Blaise heard it and was angered. I think the blame is 50-50, because Moise shouldn’t have done that and the Curva should not have reacted that way.”

Think Bonucci needs to be removed from the gene pool.
In all fairness, it should have been Jones' own goal.

Shameful from Bonucci, he is Kean's captain and he should be supporting him not blaming him, the Cagliari captain was more supportive than Bonucci was.

I'm not really surprised that this has happened in Italy again as they always seem to have a racism problem there, they were cheering for Kean when he scored for Italy last week.

Chelsea 3-0 Brighton
Man City 2-0 Cardiff
Tottenham 2-0 Crystal Palace

Routine home wins for three of the 'big six'.

So there is a Premier League game tomorrow night, so here are the games for this weekend.

Friday Night

Monday Night
Chelsea v West Ham (8pm Sky)

Reduced schedule because its also the FA Cup semi final this weekend too.

Gordon Strachan on Sky Sports "The Debate" mused that if fans aren't allowed to shout racial abuse ("the racist situation") at black players, they also shouldn't be allowed to shout abuse at convicted child rapist Adam Johnson should he choose to return to football...

With that in mind, I must do my promotion/relegation thread. Ridiculous to think it's not even April yet and we've got a team poised to change divisions...
I can't be bothered making a thread for it, so instead I'll put it here.

Full times.

Southampton 1-3 Liverpool (last night)
Huddersfield 1-4 Leicester
Bournemouth 1-3 Burnley
Newcastle 0-1 Crystal Palace

Good day for the away teams!

By managing Wednesday in a defeat to Villa at Hillsborough, Steve Bruce has set an unusual record in managing both sides to defeat in games between the teams in the same season...

Bayern are back on top of the Bundesliga after crushing Dortmund 5-0 yesterday. Crazy season in Germany.

AC Milan are rumored to have offered Pochettino the manager position and a £300 million transfer budget. He'd be crazy to take it though. That team is far from competitive now and even with that much money, he would be looking at another year or two of building before they could challenge Juventus.

Race for the top 4 in the Premier League takes another twist as Arsenal lost 1-0 to Everton, Jagielka with the only goal in a match in which he was originally playing in, Arsenal were bad, passive and uninspired.

Chelsea beat West Ham 2-0 with both goals from Hazard, the first was a goal of the season contender...

Games this weekend.

Tonight
Leicester v Newcastle (8pm Sky)

Saturday
Brighton v Bournemouth
Burnley v Cardiff
Fulham v Everton
Man United v West Ham (5.30 BT)
Southampton v Wolves
Tottenham v Huddersfield (12.30 Sky)

Sunday
Crystal Palace v Man City (2.05 Sky)
Liverpool v Chelsea (4.30 Sky

Monday night
Watford v Arsenal (8pm Sky)

Tuesday night
Brighton v Cardiff (7.45 Sky)

Today's upsy-downsies:

Premier League

None

Championship
If Ipswich Town do not beat Birmingham, they are relegated.

League One
None

League Two
If Lincoln City beat Cheltenham, they are promoted (due to Mansfield playing MK Dons on May 4).
If Lincoln City beat Cheltenham, and Mansfield Town (Northampton), MK Dons (Tranmere), and Bury (Colchester) all fail to win, they are champions.

National League
None

Championship
If Ipswich Town do not beat Birmingham, they are relegated.
1-1, Ipswich relegated.

Edit: I had to think about it for a while, but Lincoln's 1-1 gets them promoted too - the first promoted team in the English professional game - because the other teams that could catch them all drew and MK Dons and Mansfield still have to play each other. That means that only one of those two teams (Mansfield on points, MK Dons can level and will need a 13 goal difference swing), plus Bury, can pass them.

Man United won but barely. 2 goals off of penalty shots and David De Gea being great again saved them, West Ham really out played United almost the whole game.

Horrible performance by United, so lucky to win and it didn't feel like a win afterwards, I felt a bit deflated after the game.

Brighton v Cardiff is now a must win for both after both lost yesterday.

Edit: Man City just beat Palace 1-3, over to you Liverpool!
