It will be lovely to follow the 24 Hours of Daytona on NBC/NBCSN. Not sure how many 24 Hours of Daytona I have actually followed, but the first Rolex 24 at Daytona was the 2000 race. This 2019 rendition is going to be another fine Daytona 24.

Are you saying your first 24 Daytona you watched was in 2000, or a general "factoid" that it started in 2000? Because it didn't at all start in the year 2000 if it's the latter.

What's the official starting time for the Daytona 24h?

Heading up there soon, about a 4 and a half hour drive. Where did this rain for Sunday come in the forecast? I've been checking all week and up until Wednesday/Thursday there was no mention of rain for Sunday and then it turns into a 100% chance.

I meant from my post that the first Daytona 24 I followed was in 2000. Enjoy this year's rendition, everyone!

Sorry I’m confused as now....is the race geo blocked in Canada or no? Earlier in the thread someone was saying that all the IMSA races would be streamed on the website with no geo blocking....were they just referring to the support races?

While I was watching the race, I believe it is Richard Craile(Crohl, Krull?) said all races would not be Geoblocked. Where ever you are, races will be live and uninterrupted on ImsaTv..

When I go to the site, it reads "(red dot)Next on ImsaTv, Rolex 24 hours at Daytona(Restrictions Apply)

Time: 2:35pm ET - 11:55pm ET

IMSA RADIO(play button)"

He was talking only about the Michelin Pilot Challenge. WeatherTech will still be geoblocked this year in the USA, and now also Canada.

I think @05XR8 was who I was thinking of that said there was no geo blocking.

For me, there’s also the red dot, Next On IMSA.TV, Rolex 24 (restrictions apply) - 2:25pm ET

On the IMSA app, under Live IMSA.TV, it says “There are no feeds right now”, rest of the screen is black. Nothing about an upcoming feed. Interestingly, qualifying with RLM commentary is already up on the app.

On Motortrend On Demand, under Live Events, there is nothing for today, so I’m guessing the race won’t be on this app.

I have one other source to check that I’m not allowed to talk about here, but I’m not 100% confident the race will be streamed there.

It’s starting to seem like my 2019 Daytona 24 may be a DNS for me, I’ll just have to wait for a replay on YouTube or something :(

Hmmmm, I guess it's for cable only as they aren't streaming it on NBCSN.com (at least in my region with my provider). Welp, more time to do my taxes until 2PM I suppose.

EDIT: It's available on the NBCSN app, but not on my desktop, a bit odd. I guess taxes can wait :sly:

For those trying to find a way to watch, you could always do the free trial thing on Hulu, Sling or another service that carries NBCSN and cancel after tomorrow. I know it's not ideal, but it's better than nothing.

Glad to see you found it, it's been rather good so far.

Yeah nice stories on the Earnhardts and Alex Zanardi.

My laptop's charger died and I haven't bought another one yet so I'll be watching it on NBCSN this year. Based off or IMSA Radio (RLM), the pre race pits crowd is huge.

I just hope our new provider gets the NBC stream, we should be good to go as I heard that both Metronet and NBC use TvAnywhere or everywhere or whatever it's called...if not I may have to fight the wife for the tele...and that could get ugly :sly:

I'm using the Playstation Vue free trial and its working great an gives access to the NBC Sports app.

Pisses me off so much. They use the numbers they generate with YouTube views and free live streams to put together a business deal that locks everything behind an app that requires you to give them access to your Twitter, Facebook, and email.....all so they can gather info on you that they can sell to companies who then target you with advertising. So they’re making money from the cable deals or any apps that people pay for, AND off all the info they can collect about you and then sell to various buyers.

It’s a yoke.

What’s PlayStation Vue? I can’t find it in the PS store anywhere. The closest thing I can find is PlayStation Now, but that’s for downloading video games

Anyone have a link to the Imsa live feed? Only got the RLM audio at the moment.

EDIT: got the same 502 Bad Gateway notice as the poster above me.
