2019 Super Formula SF19 Coming to Gran Turismo Sport Later This Month

Why is Thursday taking so long? Looking forward to sampling the SF19 at each track.

Yeah.. was thinking the same this morning when I looked at the calendar... can’t wait to put my livery on it a throw the car around the track(s)..

Liveries No doubt we'll see plenty of F1 liveries on these cars.

The sounds shouldn't be too hard to replicate.


Another thing is, I like how we now have both of Japan's top racing categories, in the game.

I will be doing Panasonic Toyota F1 and Toyota Gazoo Racing liveries. I will also have a go at a Toyota Hybrid (Blue) version.

This evening I started to gather the required decals.

I’m going to be going for a Ferrari Driver’s Academy livery for this one as we haven’t reached the Formula Gran Turismo just yet.

I cannot think of any reason why custom liveries would be prohibited on the Dallara SF19. There is no ego like in F1 and it is a spec car.

I doubt we'd be locked to the defaults, but how they distinguish the Honda from Toyota when custom liveries are created. I mean, that's the bases of having the two engines. PD could have just given us one car. However, thankfully, we have the two.

Perhaps legal issues. like, Toyota/Honda demanding PD that they can put the SF19 in the game, only if they put their SF19 in the game too. So therefor they had to release both in the game.

They could make the Honda/TRD logos permanent/non lappable with writings and other simbols. In theory I think it’s possible.
