I'm really glad that John Doonan is continuing Scott Atherton's tradition of talking with IMSA Radio. That is one of the best things about the broadcast.

I haven't heard the name Marcel Fassler in so long, I thought she said, "Michael Fassbender".

Listening to john Hindhaugh on RS2, and he's been commenting often on just how packed the track has been from a attendance perspective - which is great news! But it got me thinking why this might be, especially considering a low car count this year.

I'd like to get some other's thoughts on this, but I'd reckon the movie Ford V Ferrari, which had an entire segment dedicated to the Rolex 24, may have played a small roll in bringing a decent amount of awareness of the event to people who otherwise would have never heard of it, and potentially helping contribute to a small % of overall attendance this year.

Does it have something to do with all the hits the chassis has taken so far? Or too much downforce?

They said they started out with the ride height set too low and now that it's cooler it's causing the car to bottom out as the downforce increases. What I don't understand is why they haven't changed the ride height unless it's something not that easy to do.

What happened to the #24 BMW? I switched from Radio Le Mans to TV coverage that just started up again and they went from 1st to 4th.

Edit: Nevermind, TV finally mentioned they did a brake change.

If anyone else out there is using trackpass and are also a Comcast/Xfinity customer, I just realized I can watch trackpass on the TV through Comcast apps. I've been using my phone/TV hookup all night. :dunce:

Beautiful sunrise, here's to a great finish.
