Apparently, today is the 5th Anniversary of Aaron Rodgers' epic Hail Mary touchdown when the Green Bay Packers played at the Detroit Lions. On this day (December 5) in 2015, down 23-21, Aaron Rodgers from his own 35-yard line to stun the Detroit Lions in Detroit 27-23. Aaron Rodgers turned 37 years old yesterday. I thought about that when I saw ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption" today making note of the different happies.

It's the first Sunday of December 2020. Go enjoy some NFL football today and tonight! Let us know how your favorite team(s) did this week unless they are on a Bye week.

Jets call a cover 0 and rush 4 with the Raiders needing a miracle and the Raiders score a TD. Raiders (7-5) 31, Jets (0-12) 28.

The Houston Texans welcomed the Indianapolis Colts on a beautiful, sunny, Sunday afternoon. No lapses in offense in the first half. Houston did not give up even while down. Defense was greatly solid along with timely offensive scores. Inside the 2:00 minute warning in the 2nd Half, the Houston Texans were threatening to maybe tie or take a one-point lead. A bad snap led to a fumble, and then the Texans losing a game they could have won. A back-breaking great shame. On top of that, I felt like we were going to fail to capitalize if the Tennessee Titans lost. 26-20 was the final in Houston. Texans now 4-8 thanks to an unfortunate oof.

Up next for the Houston Texans... at the Chicago Bears.

Damndest of shame, but that's football. Congratulations to all other winners from this week's games, including the Detroit Lions winning at the Chicago Bears.

Yeah let's leave the fastest guy (Ruggs) on the Raiders one on one on the outside. Surely nothing can go wrong there.

For Jet fans, it might mean 1 week closer to the entire coaching staff being launched into the sun.

Kansas City defeated the visiting Denver Broncos 22-16 last night. WAS at PIT and DAL at BAL are to be played today, but tonight...

Bills at 49ers TONIGHT!

Monday Night Football this week involves some East-Meets-West action. The AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills at (8-3) will meet the dead last NFC West San Francisco 49ers at (5-6). The Bills have been very good this season and hope to keep up their solid form with tonight's game. We'll see who will win tonight's match.

Falcons are a lot better than at the beginning of the year. That being said, you can't POSSIBLY lose to the Jets.

Somehow... they ALMOST do it.

Why would I be happy about that win, Raiders?

You were basically gifted it because no one, not even in freaking Madden, would call send a Cover 0 on the last play of the game, when the opposing team needs a TD to win. NO. ONE.

You are a bunch of impostors. You are living on borrowed time on this ship called 2020 NFL Season. I told you not to give me any kind of hope if your were going to be inconsistent as hell.

Just... just stay down, stay bad and perish quietly.

The Jets in response have fired Head Coach Adam Gase Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams.

Jets are desperate to make us believe they want to compete and that they are a serious organization while it's absurdly obvious they are tanking for Goldilocks Lawrence.

Pliz Trevor, stay at college :nervous:

We play to... LOSE the game? I was reading an article on the Yahoo! Sports app about the Jets' latest fail. They are supposedly tanking for 2020 just to seek better luck for the 2021 season. Sad state of affairs for the "J! E! T! S! Jets Jets Jets!".

I was out and about earlier today, so I didn't report any sooner that New York Jets' defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was fired. Pretty big unemployment line in the NFL this season, eh?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have finally been bested. So once again the 1972 Miami Dolphins can be proud to remain all alone in the undefeated season club. The Washington Football Team beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh 23-17.

What do you know? We have a new week of NFL football! Now there is one game that was moved into this week due to COVID-19/Coronavirus. Let's take a look at some of the games in this week's schedule...

* DAL Cowboys at BAL Ravens <<< postponed from last week
* NE Patriots at LA Rams (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
* HOU Texans at CHI Bears
* DAL Cowboys at CIN Bengals
* KC Chiefs at MIA Dolphins
* ARI Cardinals at NYG Giants
* DEN Broncos at CAR Panthers
* IND Colts at LV Raiders
* NYJ Jets at SEA Seahawks
* GB Packers at DET Lions
* PIT Steelers at BUF Bills (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
* BAL Ravens at CLE Browns (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

There are many other games I haven't mentioned, so be sure to enjoy whatever NFL action you want to check out this week.

Meanwhile, a few teams are IN!. Two teams have clinched Playoff berths, and they are: Kansas City and New Orleans. So whomever makes it into the Playoffs will have to deal with these two teams.

Enjoy this week's games!

College football related; but the Michigan v. Ohio State game was canceled for this weekend.

I mean, not that big of a deal. OSU was already a 4 score favorite, so Harbaugh could save face amid calls for his replacement.

I mentioned the Ohio State at Michigan deal in my college football thread. But yeah, it is sad. With the latest CFP rankings coming up, Ohio State might be in a world of trouble postseason-wise.

Other than that (and back to the NFL), I'm hearing the Philadelphia Eagles will start Jalen Hurts from here on out. I wonder what difference he will make with the Eagles...

Get ready for Patriots at Rams tonight! [AFC] East meets [NFC] West! That is... if you'll be watching or following...

As a Giants fan I propose we end the regular season with immediate effect and move to the playoffs.

You and me both buddy. Before Washington can take it away from us  With any luck, we'll get Danny Dimes back under center this weekend.

Because of bad weather, I couldn't hype up today's action any earlier. Yet still, enjoy today's games.

There was bad weather here in Houston today, and it may have affected the Houston Texans' performance today in Chicago. A massive fail by the Texans happened today in a 36-7 rout. This is even though the Texans were without a number of offensive players. It was a living nightmare for sure for H-Town going down in Chi-Town.

Up next for the Houston Texans... we are at the Indianapolis Colts, where winning at Indy for the Texans is about as rare as seeing the Hale-Bopp Comet.

Congratulations to all winners from this week! That even includes the Dallas Cowboys' QB spanking his former team on the road (Cincinnati Bengals).

Jets have pretty much shown blatantly they are tanking and Gase thinks he will return next year. No other explanation for that if he keeps using the completely ineffective Frank Gore.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have now lost back-to-back games after being the only unbeaten team in the 2020 season. Buffalo won at home 26-15. Buffalo looks really good right about now. Let's talk about tonight...

Ravens at Browns TONIGHT!

"Defend the Land!" ...or so the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers would say. Northeastern Ohio gets its shine on tonight as the Browns host the Ravens. Both teams look pretty good with very decent records. Baltimore is 7-5 on the season and is 2nd in the AFC North. Meanwhile, the home-standing Cleveland Browns are 9-3 and 2nd in the AFC North. So with the AFC North in vogue tonight, the Brownies look to bash the boys from Baltimore (or "B-More"). Brace yourself for another fine NFL contest tonight!

Thank god the season is over. Colts, thank you for throwing us to the abyss.

Just... just stay down, stay quiet, stay bad and perish quietly... baby :/

If he returns that means the Jets are tanking for literally nothing. They just want another flashy toy to ruin (Lawrence).

I really really hope Lawrence either returns to College or the Jets go full Jets mode and draft a punter.

I cannot imagine ownership would be stupid enough to keep Gase and if they do, Lawrence will probably inform them he won't report if Gase is the coach.

Have a great Monday night, NFL fans! Enjoy the game if you'll be watching or following!

Well that last play as Scott Van Pelt says was "significant to some".

It was the Baltimore Ravens who won at the Cleveland Browns last night 47-42.

Meanwhile... welcome to Week 15, and also the first of the Saturday game weeks! The National Football League will feature matches like these to set up the new week:

* LAC Chargers at LV Raiders (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
* HOU Texans at IND Colts
* SF 49ers at DAL Cowboys
* BUF Bills at DEN Broncos
* DET Lions at TEN Titans
* NE Patriots at MIA Dolphins
* JAX Jaguars at BAL Ravens
* NYJ Jets at LAR Rams
* CLE Browns at NYG Giants (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
* PIT Steelers at CIN Bengals (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

I hope you all get to enjoy this week's games.

Let's update the postseason picture. The following teams have at least clinched playoff berths:

--- AFC: Who's IN! (as of December 15, 2020) ---
...AFC East...
Pittsburgh (clinched berth)
...AFC South...
Kansas City (AFC West Champions)
...AFC Wild Card...

--- NFC: Who's IN! (as of December 15, 2020) ---
...NFC East...
Green Bay (NFC North Champions)
New Orleans (clinched berth)
...NFC West...
...NFC Wild Card...

More slots may likely be filled out this week, not to mention teams well out of it being eliminated, including more than likely, my Houston Texans.

Enjoy Week 15!

Really mad now that I quit watching the Ravens/Browns game to play the PS4. I missed a gem.
Only game you should quit watching in 2020 is any game the Jets play in. Actually, you're better off watching figure skating.

We begin the new week tonight with the Los Angeles Chargers at the Las Vegas Raiders. Enjoy the game if you will be watching or following!
