SO many really nice liveries! Nicely done gentlemen....
Spontero10 – The Ninja
This is not my story… I finished tenth after qualifying eighth because I was distracted by the hero of our story and lost 2 positions not shifting down.
Our hero is Spontero10 or as I have come to know him: The “Spontaneous” Ninja.
He is a true hero. Just look at him. Ready to kick off from tenth just two positions behind me.

And now look at him at the highlight of his race about to pass number 13 for twelfth. I could tell you what happened but pictures say more than words. So please enjoy this 10 minute video of the first few laps of this brave soul.
Watched it? Now if you go through all of that and push trough to finish like he did… you are a hero. And had me laugh my ass off (sorry).
Wonderful stuff. Spontero, my hero, my Spontanious Ninja!

At 5x with the short infield section, I think AWD will have the upper hand. I guess the AWD 4-doors might be good. Maybe Huracan and GT-R can shine on race pace? The Slophy was Meta on the full Autopolis in the last group 4 daily there. Don’t know how it will go on the short version. I haven’t tried the combo yet. Will tyres be an issue for the FFs?
You've not driven the GT-R lately, have you? That's the old magnet under the table trick.

I'm just trying my best to be competitive with the Mustang.
Slophy does well here, and with the right brake balance, small tire wear issues can be delayed up to laps 10-11. I tried WRX earlier, and it looked like tire wear can be an issue, but the amount of fuel used up can somewhat make this issue not as obvious. The Slophy was Meta on the full Autopolis in the last group 4 daily there. Wow. That had to be one of the most toxic, unfriendly and unsportsmanlike online races I've ever been in. No fun whatsoever.
Looked like a decent result for @HaydenFan69 and a similar struggle as mine for @KosmoKazi. Though it was nice to see ya both out there.
Not so much nice seeing Sir Lewis.

As for the Scirocco, is it good on grid starts? I'll give it a try tonight in Custom Race, but I'm not having too high of hopes of it doing well.
It was totally stupid. Got screwed in qualifying by a guy that ran me off in the chicane after going too slow in the one turn that requires any skill at all. He was a second ahead of me on the beginning of the lap so at that point yield when a guy has the edge on you, right? Or I guess run him off in the chicane in QUALIFYING.Wow. Then from a crap starting position I get passed Scott Pruett with a divebomb then held up by a Ford Fairlane who is so slow in that one difficult turn that anyone behind him gets swamped and overtaken. Cost me five spots. I noticed a whole train behind him but because I lost the draft I could only pull within just under a second each lap only to watch them drive off again in the aero train.
People didn’t understand to ride the curbs for speed, then people tried to wedge under you when you tried to follow for the tow. Such a stupid race.
cost me another fistful of DR and was pointless to run. I’m about fed up with this FIA season. Some stupid races like this one and I’m just stinking it up amongst a bunch of people with similar DR that I don’t like racing with at all.
At Maggiore it was great. Surprised me, actually. I don't think I've driven it after the update. You've not driven the GT-R lately, have you?
the man whose name cannot be said (not because he’s Lord Voldemort, but because the mods say we can’t call out people by name on this forum

I talked with a few of the guys up front afterwards and we all wanted to punt him, but just didn’t want the risk. Which is what he thrives on. He knows no one wants to risk a reset by taking him out. So he continues with his silliness. Like that certain Canadian World Tour driver who has been taking people out with zero repercussions.
Slophy as well, it has really good grid start. You definitely want an AWD for the grid start, FFs will be the worst

There are others doing it in Oceania/Asia as well. Thinking they would have stopped after seeing the band, but I saw them commenting on someone else's stream comparing the results they were getting with their different accounts. All in the same region.Considering that some players running multiple accounts in the FIA recently got banned, you would think this guy known for running two accounts himself would have the sense to keep his own head down and not draw attention to himself.
Especially when both accounts have near identical names and have run in championship series races.

It sure would be unfortunate if multiple individuals were to try drawing PD’s attention to that fact....
Practice finally pays off! First ever Nations Cup victory!
It wasn't without struggles, though. Only had time for three slots, missed the first slot. First race on the 2nd slot, qualified 5th and steered out of danger into 3rd; worked together with 2nd and 1st place to bump ourselves away from the pack. On the penultimate lap, the two started battling and 1st place took a bad line through the 2nd hairpin, allowing me to slide into 2nd place. Kept up with the leader and had a drag race to the finish, taking 2nd Place and missing 1st by just .039 seconds.
Second race in the 3rd slot, what an absolute trashfest. A particularly nasty player was showing off their unprofessional driving mannerisms. Was behind them in 3rd, after passing the first turn, they run me wide into the grass and drop all the way back into 9th. End up finishing that race in 8th. Karma finally paid them a visit when I observed them burn rubber on the 2nd hairpin and lose a bunch of positions. They ended up finishing the race right in front of me in 7th. Couldn't believe the quality (or lack thereof) of sportsmanship from that player, and I wasn't gonna settle for that, so I had the time to go once more.
Third and final race in the 4th slot, managed to grab Pole Position with a slick qualifying lap. Starting the race, me and 2nd place worked together to bump ourselves away from the pack for the entire race up until the penultimate lap once again, where they had a bad run on the 2nd hairpin. They end up losing the slipstream and I nab my first ever Nations Cup victory! Said aforementioned nasty player was also in this race, causing trouble in the back; I have the replay saved so I'll review it sometime to see what kind of grief they were causing other players.
My condolences to anyone who had their race ruined. I love to race on this small little track, but other players who lack racecraft or sportsmanship can make the experience miserable. I was very fortunate to have other players who cooperated with me in two out of three races I was able to participate in. Reading the backlog, it would appear as if most players did not have respectful opponents.
Look, the only time you will hear from me in here is if I have a good time. And I had a great race last night, an early b-day present.
Oceania Slot 1 2nd split B/S Door #8. First couple of qualifying laps were a bit slow (p10) then I let the dude behind me pass then I slipped in behind him to get a 56.8xx, missed pole by .024. A good start, p1 got away a wee bit in the frst couple of laps but not too far. Dude in p7 with door#1 eventually caught up to me on lap 6 by which time p1 was about 2.8 seconds ahead. Swapped places 6 or 7 times during the race, only going for a pass if there was an opening. We caught up p1 on lap 18 (Wasn't this race 25 laps originally ?) and sat on his tail until last lap when we both passed him. Blue Mini dude went a bit wide at the last corner which allowed me to sneak through and snatch victory from them both. Best race in a long time. 113 points and first top 5 finish for this season of Nation's Cup, most of it has been a bit ordinary as far as getting a good result. Looking forward to GT Cup today.

Qualifying. Went well until I picked up a .5s penalty for undercutting the chicane. Jump out, jump back in, and I qualify Q12.
Overall a clean race. For me at least. However.... tonight I ran into the *WORST* blocker I've ever seen... who qualified Q15. (More on him in a minute)
First lap, I'm with the pack, running P10/11. Pushed wide in the S. Had to brake early for the hairpin, drop to P16 (out of 17).

This leaves me directly behind whom I shall refer to as Mr. Block. I catch up to him within a lap and he goes wide on the hairpin, i pull under and alongside, he comes across hard, I lose momentum and have to catch back up. I catch back up to Mr. Block at the end of lap 4 as he shoved Clark wide. (Clark ran a good clean race and finished 8th) Me and Clark work together some as we're back to P15/16 again, slipstreaming and leap froging each other to get back in the race. We catch back up to Mr. Block at the end of lap 7 as he forced people wide at the hairpin. Again. He tries to muscle Clark out of the way and we're still stuck in P15/16. We get to the hairpin and I'm alongside Clark, I'm take the hairpin tight to make sure to give him some room and boom, we're back on Mr. Block on Lap 9. I set it up to try and duck inside him on the hairpin and he undercuts the hairpin to block me which also killed his speed. Mr. Block goes to push someone off their line in the S and i duck under him and pick up P13. (Yes... this was all for P13).

Its now lap 11, I've been trying to get past this much slower blocker for 9 laps and in turn one, he dives under me on the grass and muscles me out of the way, picking up a .5s penalty in the process. Clark very wisely ducks under Mr. Block and GTFO right out of there. I've just had it, I get blocked again as he undercuts the hairpin and - I was questioning myself if i should just punt him - but I have 500 yards to the penalty zone and I'll pass him there.

And then.....?
Then he swerves all of the track while ghosted in an effort to try and crash into me. He missed. I finally pick up P14 and..... ugh. Seven laps to try and hook back on the train. Somewhere I pick up a position because someone quit. I pushed and pushed and got to within 1.6s of 12th.

On the final lap, final hairpin? HOPE! Someone spins at the hairpin and P11 picks up a penalty. .... and I catch P12 but not enough track left to make a move. P13 it is.

I finish 10.2s ahead of Mr. Block.
Ce la vie. Edward Teach Racing and Queen Anne's Revenge will live to fight another day.
Added Bonus? Mr. Block's DR & SR.

Honestly I think it is time to clean house on some of these that are really pushing it. While I dont like it, I can sort of understand the idea of running a second account in a really fun combo (even though I disagree with it completely). But running full seasons on 2 or 3 accounts is just getting to be absurd
Mr obvious actually runs 3 accounts. Also spied out another drivers stream and found several people being referred to by other PSNs I have been racing in FIA as well as their screen names which were others. A quick scan of the standings looked like plenty of doubles up there.Done a few test races. I’ll likely run the Slophy. The Scirocco has better single lap pace but the Slophy’s tyre wear advantage and speed off the line should see it more than hold its own. All the cars I’ve tested are within 2 seconds of each other in total race time.
There is a VERY obvious dual account user running near the top split in Oceania. Literally one letter difference between the user names. I’ve raced against him quite a bit and he seems like a good guy, but I fail to see how there’s any justification for “stealing” points in later splits with your alt.
I’ve also noticed an increasing number of suspiciously bad connections in Nations races. I’d be n favour of a crackdown on multiples in FIA.
Did, someone just pit at the beginning of that clip??
Also he was a douche.
