Well I certainly wasn't expecting the Dinger to get the win that one. Just another curveball thrown this season. How many winners have their been this year? 14? And Hamlin and Harvick aren't among them. That's crazy.

Two possible solutions for curb mess:
1. Get rid of the damn splitter and/or raise the cars.
2. Plant some grass and it becomes the track boundary. Is there a reason that entire area needs to be paved?

Kinda shows that Kaulig is gonna bring some good cars to the table. AJ is a washed up has been but can still run the road courses. Haley finishes Top 10 with an underfunded team. Should be a lock for ROTY 2022. Hell he has a win, even though he got it Chase Elliott style a couple of years ago. Would be fun to see everyone on equal equipment. Harvick Almirola Dillon Elliott and Bell would all be field fillers

You'll pretty much see that next year.

I recorded the race but I'll probably delete it. I caught the extended highlights on the Youtube.

Not bad.

Prince Vs. Larson continues on this weekend at Michigan since they'll both be starting on the front row.

Or, run the GP layout that replaces the 5/6 quick kink in a too-long straightaway with turns 5, 6, and 7, as shown below. Problem solved.

I'm actually surprised they didn't use this layout... One banked corner wouldn't do too much harm at the speeds and aero the cars would take it... Same goes for Waltkins Glen for not using the GP layout with the extra leg instead of the short layout....

The final spot in the playoffs will be Reddick, Austin Dillon or the winner at Daytona next week following Blaney's victory at Michigan.

Maybe all that tEaMw3rK nipped them in the but at the end.
What nipped them was the final corner. Byron and Blaney both dove for the bottom, but Byron changed his mind mid-dive and went back to the top. But the momentum he could have carried off of 4 to the finish line was lost by not initially committing to the top.

Disgusting display of driving by Blaney. Thought it was just a super speedway thing, but now it’s just trickled it’s way to what could’ve been a good finish.

But I also see Byron maybe playing the points game. Why risk playoff points by going for the win and ending up in the wall? Same with Larsen.

Which move are you referring to? Just watched the finish again and nothing he did came across as a bad block or anything.

Out of curiousity was blaney on older tires during the last few restarts? Bro literally came from no where.

The constant weaving the entire time he had the lead. Meant to take away any draft Byron could’ve gotten. To me that’s just dirty racing.

I disagree. On non-RP tracks the aero has become so strong that trying to break the draft is just defensive driving to prevent someone from powering on by.

Wont be 15 big ones. You only have 40 cars. Im sure Dillon, Almirola and Stenhouse will wreck multiple times. Will be rooting for the #21 or any other car outside the top 16 to win. Keep RCR outta the playoffs. Trash organization anyway.

A reminder of the changes being made for Daytona in the aftermath of Joey Logano’s flip at Talladega earlier this year.
