It sounds like IndyCar is aiming to get the calendar up to 20 races in the next few years with two potential locations being Milwaukee and a race in Mexico.

It's hard to get excited for a Mexico race since we obviously don't know where it would be (I do think they need a race there though), but I would love to see Milwaukee return as it would give me another IndyCar race to go to.

I really hope Indy does return to Milwaukee, that track's awesome and with it only hosting ARCA so far, it'll get some life back in it.

Rossi's biggest issue is his oval performance since the aeroscreen was introduced - his road pace has been there or thereabouts, but just with bad luck striking most times. Once they get the set up right, and bring his confidence back, I'm sure he'll be winning more races.

This is really a season for the history books. I think the top six in points are bunched tighter than for many a year, I don't know how many. Would it be cool if there was an F1 season like this?

Palou/Ganassi drama continues to escalate. Possibility of defamation damage charges being brought against CGR by Palou's lawyers.

The only bright spot about the whole lawsuit business is the fact that Ganassi supposedly filed to expedite the case, so hopefully it won't be dragged out for a crazy amount of time.

In other driver market news...
  • DeFrancesco is at risk of losing his seat as Andretti is known to be exploring their options.
  • VeeKay isn't under contract for 2023
  • Juncos has signed Ilott to a multi-year deal and are still trying to add a second car.
  • Coyne has confirmed Sato and Malukas for next year and is looking to add a third car (likely for HMD driver Linus Lundqvist)

I also wonder if we may see something like Jack Harvey getting replaced. This is just purely speculation on my part of course, but I can't imagine HyVee is happy that they've made a huge investment into RLL and the Iowa race only for their car to be anonymous... except when Santino is behind the wheel.

Plus you have Foyt's usual unstableness.

This.

I can see Harvey getting the boot and Andretti snatching him up over DeFrancesco.

As for DeFrancesco, he'll probably bounce to Juncos or Coyne should the third seat pop up.

Veekay might as well pop right into Palou's seat, which might be sooner than later. I don't trust that Bitnile sponsorship, or any Crypto sponsorships in general.

I just want to know what he was drinking. 👀

I just got off work so I’m happy with this delay.

That Colton and Brian Herta team radio compilation was gold, it might be time for a change.

Newgarden gonna Grosjean.... Romain didn't deserve that. Excellent and thoroughly entertaining race otherwise.

Yea and his post-race interview didnt help his side of things either imho. He is making it out to be that Grosjean is acting more like Devlin or Kellet and is being unawares of anyone he races around, so actions like this are in some ways deserved. Now Im not going to say that the pheonix is not a driver you need to race hard against, but this is sounding from most of the paddock (Newgarden, Rahal, Ericsson, Rossi, even the booth) just have it out for him. It’s starting to turn into self-fulfilling prophecy in some ways

He kept it going on Twitter:

That race was crazy. It says a lot about the track that the two winners of this race started 16th & 20th. Complete free for all.
